God gave us the grace by opening doors to reach out beyond borders. In several great cities, there was no shortage of highly learned and intellectuals (i.e University professors, medical doctors, theologians holding PhDs etc) who attended our meetings/seminars. Most of them came with deep hunger for the spiritual things of God and the Lord never failed to meet their hunger with spiritual impartation.
Spiritual things are caught, not taught. Intellectual pride is the reason of hindrance why some could not receive what the Lord desires to give them.
Jesus prayed in Matthew 11:25, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.”
When little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray, the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:13-14).
Matthew 18:3
And he said:- “I tell you the truth, UNLESS you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Pride also causes spiritual blindness that prevents us from being able to see and hear clearly in the Spirit. Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 13:16-17, “But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For I tell you the truth, many PROPHETS and RIGHTEOUS men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
The Baptism of Fire will destroy the yoke of spiritual blindness and open the spiritual senses to see and hear in the Spirit.
