Singapore: I am changing your status as an Antioch of Asia

My dear Singapore – how I longed to dwell among you with my glory and make you a light to the nations. But you have missed the days of your visitation. I have offered you the Kingdom of Heaven, but you chose Christianity from overseas. I have wanted to be your King, but you rejected my Kingship, selected your own Sauls and submitted to human leaders of your own choice just like my people of Israel who set up kings without my consent and choose princes without my approval. You have more respect for your own political, financial and religious leaders than for me. I wanted to be holy among you, but you were only interested in healing. I wanted you to live in my presence, but you gave me visiting hours in your church services. Instead of serving me, you fell for the false gospel of Mammon. Though you still cry, sing and preach “Lord, Lord”, you do not do what I say. You have rejected my law and made up your own laws. You believe that you are better than the nations surrounding you because of your great wealth and progress. This is not a result of my blessings, but the deception of riches. Instead of becoming a beacon of light, a city on the hill, you became a market for those that peddle the gospel. You have failed to receive the seeds of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and brought forth the fruit of religion: kinglessness, disunity and the yoke of slavery. I expected you to be a good garden, a well‐watered vineyard that produces good grapes, but you yielded wild and unpruned grapes. The thorns of material worries and the thistles of arrogance have overtaken and trapped you. Your basic architecture is now far more shaped by the market than by my Kingdom. You even call the arrogant blessed and measure yourself not according to my plumb line of righteousness, but the false plumb line of success. There was a time when your role was to be an Antioch of Asia. But the season has now passed, the opportunity is lost, the door has closed. I have already begun to take away your most respected leaders and your reputation. Your youth that you have dedicated to the dragon of greed and achievement, is now turning it’s back on you. They are no longer impressed by the glib sermons and religious performances in what you call church. Ikabod, my glory has left you.

Therefore, I am hereby revoking your status as an Antioch of Asia, a centre for my apostolic purposes in Asia. You are now closer to turn into a modern day Nineveh than in the days when I called you to become an Antioch. Consider again what is written in the books of Jonah and Nahum and you will know my burden for you. I particularly detest that you have turned my ways into the patterns of a modern day synagogue. You follow weak principles that enslave you and you observe religious laws that I have never given you, while you detest my law, the Law of Christ, and the rules of my house. The synagogue is what Israel, my people, invented during their time in Babylon in a spirit of national and religious self‐ preservation, out of rebellion against my Kingship and my Kingdom. I never ordered my people to build synagogues; yet they did so. And my Body has, in a spirit of rebellion against my Kingship and my Kingdom, done the same and embraced the blueprint of the Jewish synagogue to be their basic pattern for what you call church. I myself foretold that all the prophets, wise men and teachers I am going to send to you will be killed, crucified and flogged in your synagogue. You, my Body in Singapore, have done that. In defiance of me, you have become a synagogue, trapping my word and yourself in a pyramidal system created in a spirit of religious pride, national hubris and even wordly competition with each other. Since then, you have invited many self‐appointed, false apostles and prophets to tell you what your itching ears wanted to hear, because you wanted to celebrate yourself. But those apostles and prophets that I sent to you, you have ignored and even ridiculed. However, I can use even systems built in defiance to me to proclaim what I wish to say. It was a synagogue where I first proclaimed: Repent, because the Kingdom of God has come. It was from the platform of a synagogue that my apostle Paul spoke to the city of Ephesus, arguing persuasively about the Kingdom of God.

What does it mean that you are no longer my Antioch, but a mere synagogue? It is to humble you, so you will learn my ways. From now on, you will still have the platform, but not longer is it the Word of the Lord that is coming from you. From now on, my word, the Word of the Kingdom, will have to come to you, declared to you by the apostles, prophets and teachers I am going to send to you. Even from your neighbouring nations, on whom you have looked down for a long time, I will send my word to you. If you receive it, and if you receive my messengers, people that you have despised in the past, I will look at you again with favour and will give you room for repentance. You must change your ways, they have displeased me greatly. Come back to me; come home to me, into my house. Repent, my beloved Bride in Singapore, because you have run away from me. Repent from idolizing yourself. Repent from idolizing even my people of Israel. They should be jealous of you, but you have become covetous of them and failed to make them jealous. Repent from idolizing your material wealth. You have not done with my money that is on your bank accounts what I wanted to see done with it. You have robbed me. Repent from your arrogance towards other nations surrounding you. Repent from establishing a myriad of Christian synagogues you call churches and wasting my money so easily.

There are a few amongst you who have not bowed their knee to the Baal of fame, name and prideful, competitive church structures. They are my remnant, my true sages. I am tasking them to call for a national, solemn assembly to individually and corporately repent on behalf of missing the days of my visitation; repent on behalf of an imperial mindset to bring the kind of perfunctory and self‐centred church that seem normal to you to the nations surrounding you and call it missions; repent for being involved in a religion made by man, not by me, and for not joining me in becoming the city whose architect and builder is me, for which already Abraham was looking forward to. Do this soon, because the time is short and I will not delay my purposes because you are tardy. If I have dealt ever so severely with my own people of Israel, do not think I will hesitate to deal with you severely as well in order to fulfil my plans. But if you respond swiftly and with a humble spirit, if you radically change your ways of following and obeying me, I will show mercy, grace and my unbroken love for you. Because even as your role in my plans is now changing, you still will have a task to fulfil. Do it in a spirit to bring honour and glory to me, not to you, and I will be with you, as I have promised long ago.

Growth to Spiritual Maturity

Every Christians must grow towards spiritual maturity, into the image and likeness of Christ in order to truly live and walk in the Spirit.  To attain this, our body which is the temple of God must be filled with the fullness of God, as God gives the Spirit without limits.

As humans, we all have a physical body, a soul and a spirit. I quote Stephen Covey who says, “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience.”

God creates us first in the spirit and put us in our earthly mother’s womb to be birthed with a physical earthly body. Our human spirit is entrapped in our sinful human body weighed down by the earth’s gravity. We need to grow towards spiritual maturity in order to free our human’s spirit from the force of gravity. This force bursting through the gravity of the flesh is like a rocket being launched into space. As a spacecraft in orbit can see earth very clearly, so will a human’s spirit in such position can see things that other cannot see.

Body - 1 Corinthians 3:1-3

“Brothers, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly–mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men?”

Soul - 1 Corinthians 2:14

“The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

Spirit - 1 Corinthians 2:11

“For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.”

Spiritual Maturity

On the scale of maturity, God's measurement on the growth of spiritual maturity is how one lives with abundant blessing with the fullness of God in us to love others as "God does not show favoritism but accepts men from every nation who FEAR Him and DO WHAT IS RIGHT" (Acts 10:34-35).

Without our spirit-being continually strengthened with power, many Christians will be led by their soul and sinful flesh instead of being led by the Spirit (Romans 8:14). Those led by their soul and sinful flesh will never walk and experience the abundant blessing and fullness of God because pride, deception, fear and unwillingness to be taught the truth by God or the people of God come from our carnal sinful nature.

All the works of the Holy Spirit are done through man's spirit while the works of the enemy are all done  through man's soul and sinful flesh. Ephesians 3:16-19 taught us to seek the Lord on strengthening our spirit with power  through His Spirit in order to grow to spiritual maturity, to the image and likeness of Christ.

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Rob Whelan’s Testimony

Arsenal of Fire Global ministered in New Zealand recently, and we had an amazing manifest presence of God. One of those we ministered to was Rob Whelan. With his permission, I would like to share his powerful encounter with God’s fire. Rob is a truly amazing believer, the kind that God will use for His glory, as He said in Romans 9:25-26, “I will call them ‘my people’ who are not my people; and I will call her ‘my loved one’ who is not my loved one, and, it will happen that in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’ ”

God requires children who understands the true meaning of sonship, those who are obedient and manifest His glory in healing and deliverance to reveal Jesus.

“You might remember, I was the demon inflicted guy with the long beard who took your hand for a blessing at the Capital Vineyard Church in Wellington in September this year.  I do remember hearing you blessing me as a fire starter and that I carry the light to overcome the darkness.

Since that night, I have a strong heat in the pit of my belly especially when I read the Bible and also especially your book.

It's about the 3rd month since I was baptised. The heat is still very very strong in the pit of my stomach so I know it is a very powerful gift which makes a big difference in ministering God’s healing to others.

I have imparted the ‘fire’ of God to a couple of faith-filled friends in church and also recently laid hands on a non-believing friend from Singapore and the lord completely healed his sprained ankle.

I am now hitting the streets on Saturday with some friends to offer God’s healing to the general public. Time to set Wellington alight!

I was also just wondering whether you have any plan to run a Fire Starters School in New Zealand. I think it would be an amazing thing to do over here, as many are prophesizing that a huge revival will be coming out of NZ of worship and prayer movements that will go on to powerfully influence the rest of the nations of the world to great effect.”

Prophetic Words for 2019 by Lana Vawser

"2019: The Year of My Outstretched Arm and Major Demonstrations of My Power" by Lana Vawser, Brisbane, Australia.

I don't usually release prophetic words for the following year so early, but the Lord spoke to me very clearly that I should release this prophetic word now.

Last year, as we were about to move into 2018, the Lord spoke to me that 2018 was to be a year of Family, Fruitfulness and the Fear of God, and that as the Church, we are in a season of major restoration of the fear of God and Isaiah 6 encounters. That decree the Lord released for 2018 is now going to gain even greater momentum amongst the many other amazing things He is going to do in 2019.

The Lord has been moving in such a way in 2018 where we, as the Church, are beginning to see the Lord show up in greater ways than we have ever seen before—ways that are leaving many in awe and wonder of Him. How we will see Him move in 2019 and beyond is going to completely revolutionize the Church—by the dramatic demonstrations of His power and strength, and a greater unveiling of His majesty!

About a month ago I heard the Lord release a decree over 2019. I heard Him say, "2019: The year of My outstretched arm and major demonstrations of My power."

"2019 will see a divine rebirth of God's people that will move them further into their destinies and purposes"

As I have sat with the Lord, I have gotten such a deep stirring in my spirit regarding 2019. He has been speaking to me that 2019 is going to be a year where the majesty of God is going to be revealed. We are truly going to see the Lord step in as the King of kings and Lord of lords. 2019 will bring a great shaking, but it is a glorious shaking as the King of glory steps in, in greater ways than we have ever seen. The Lord spoke to me over 18 months ago and told me that Psalm 24:7-9 was the decree right now over this time in history:

"So wake up, you living gateways!
Lift up your heads, you ageless doors of destiny!
Welcome the King of Glory,
for He is about to come through you.
You ask, 'Who is this Glory-King?'
The Lord, armed and ready for battle,
the Mighty One, invincible in every way!
So wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice!
Fling wide, you ageless doors of destiny!
Here He comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in." (The Passion Translation)

As I heard the Lord speak this, He reminded me of a dream I had many months before where I had heard His voice booming so loudly, it felt like the whole earth shook. He spoke, "Lana, it is not the end of a season, it is the end of an ERA. A completely new era has begun." I woke up shaken by the voice of God. I just knew the power of God that I felt and the decree of God had brought a historical shift.

In 2019 we are going to see mighty demonstrations of His power and outstretched arm in ways we have never seen before. There are going to be mighty deliverances; there are going to be mighty demonstrations of the power of God that will leave the Body of Christ and the earth totally shaken.

The Year of Awe
As I sat with the Lord, talking with Him about 2019, He spoke, "Lana, 2019—it is a year of awe." The Lord has been speaking for so long about the restoration of the fear of God in the Church, and in 2019 this restoration is going to be seen in significant and increased ways.
To the many who have been crying out to God, wondering why they do not yet have a "plan" or "strategy" for 2019, I want to encourage you: what the Lord is going to do in 2019 is going to be so completely different. It is going to be a year where the Lord will take the Church and the world by surprise. I could hear His decree resonating, "2019: the year of being surprised by My power. You have no grid for what I am about to do, it's completely new" (see Isaiah 43:19).

This testimony will be released far and wide across the world—that He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and He cannot be moved because of the way His power is going to be manifested and demonstrated. He cannot be overcome. He cannot be shaken.
He spoke again, "The earth will shake at My power and My decree in 2019. My majesty and holiness that are going to be revealed will leave the earth trembling; trembling at My power, My goodness and My majesty. I am the King of glory, and I am coming in.

"I have been preparing My Church for such a time as this. I am coming to reintroduce Myself to the Church and to the world. Where there has been familiarity that has been birthed in the Church, it is going to be shaken and broken in 2019. For I am restoring the AWE of who I am to the Church and to the world. I am going to cause the Church and the earth to TREMBLE at My power. There are going to be many 'faces down' times in the Body of Christ and in the world in 2019 as I move in power.

"I am breaking boxes. I am breaking lies that have built themselves up against the truth of who I am. The mighty harvest will come in as My power is demonstrated, as governments are shaken, shifted and moved, as things that would seem impossible are suddenly accomplished in a day by My mighty power. My goodness is going to be revealed in power—it is going to bring in a mighty harvest. It is time for the great outpouring. It is time for My glory to be revealed. It is time not only for the Church to see My power and My glory—My majesty revealed—it is time for the earth to see My power and majesty in a way that has not been seen before."

A Great Birthing of Maturity, Purity and Integrity

There will be many times in 2019 during the demonstration of His power and majesty that we, as the people of God, will be left trembling in His presence. The fear of God is being restored, and it's the place of awe at the holiness of God. From this place will arise an army that is carrying and moving in the power of God in ways we have never seen.

The great trembling is going to bring forth a great MATURITY. It is going to bring forth a maturing of the saints to carry His glory and to see His power flow through them like never before. It's birthing a PURITY and an INTEGRITY in the people of God, to reflect Him in brighter ways than before. This divine trembling, in the restoration of the fear of God in the Church, is going to shake out and clean out impurities. It is going to strengthen God's people to partner with Him in the greatest move of the Spirit of God upon the Church that we have ever seen.

"The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God's glorious sons and daughters!" (Romans 8:19)

"The Year of My Outstretched Arm"

There are going to be demonstrations of deliverance in 2019. The Lord is going to bring a mighty deliverance to the Body of Christ and to the earth. There is a refiner's fire that is going to increase in the Church, but it is not something to run away from. It's something to run TOWARD. For the purifying fire of God is bringing great deliverance. His strong arm is coming to deliver His people from their bondage.
In this new era we will see a mighty demonstration of the freedom of God in the Church. The saints of God have been held down too long. The saints of God have been caged in lies and fears and bondages that have already been dealt with at the Cross by Jesus. It is time for the saints to go free! Get ready to see MIGHTY deliverances take place in 2019. The Lord is going to show Himself strong and His strong arm to deliver His people from their captivity (Psalm 136:12-14). (Photo via Pixabay)

I heard the Lord say, "I am going to remind you again! I am going to remind you again of WHAT is yours and WHO I am." As He spoke those words, I had a vision and I saw Jesus on the Cross and then the Lord rising out of the tomb in resurrection power. The atmosphere was filled with victory and triumph.

He spoke again, "I am going to remind My people again of their victory in Me. I am going to reveal Myself in powerful ways as the King of kings, the Lord of victory, the God of breakthrough and the warrior God. I am going to remind My people again of their victory. Where they have forgotten, I am going to remind them again who I am and who they are in Me. The mighty demonstrations of My power are going to suddenly shake My people awake in new ways. My people have already begun to wake, but there is going to be a glorious, violent shaking awake by My power that is going to leave My people in awe of who I am.

"The world is going to see My mighty deliverance, My mighty power and strength; My outstretched arm to deliver, to rearrange and sovereignly establish My plans upon the earth in 2019. My mighty arm will be shown strong. I have been known as the Lamb, now I shall be known as the LION! In 2019 I am going to roar in strength in the earth like never before!"
A Great Awakening: "I Can Do All Things through Christ—Nothing is Impossible for Him!"

In this upcoming year, there is going to be a great awakening of:  "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13) and "...But what seems impossible to you is never impossible to God" (Matthew 19:26).

The power of God that will be demonstrated in 2019 in the lives of His people individually, in the Body of Christ and in the earth, will awaken the people of God to the promises of Philippians 4:13 and Matthew 19:26. We will see the Church walking in these promises like never before. It is going to ignite in the Body a fire of all things are possible in Christ. 2019 will see many things that seem "impossible" suddenly overturned by the power of God.

We will see mighty miracles of the resurrection power of God suddenly taking place. I heard the Lord decreeing over and over, "2019: a year of My RESURRECTION POWER!" We will see this power rebirth many in the Body of Christ. There will be moves of the Spirit of God that will bring forth resurrection power in the Church. We will also see these demonstrations taking place all throughout the world! The dead being raised will be seen more and more. God is about to show up in power and the world will take notice. A mighty increase of harvest; an influx of souls into the Kingdom of God will take place as they physically see the resurrection power of God demonstrated before their very eyes.

"It is time for My glory to be revealed"

"I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God's power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted Him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm!" (Ephesians 1:19-20 The Passion Translation)

In this divine rebirthing that will take place, we are going to see the Spirit of God rise up His army that moves in His resurrection power. I see the army of God moving out into the world—no longer chained by fear but convicted by the power and protection of God—moving forward face-to-face with impossibilities and giants and decreeing, "Nothing is impossible for Him! He lives in me! Impossibilities bow!"

The Lord showed me the areas where the enemy has fought to kill dreams, assignments and people in the Body of Christ within the last few years. It has been his mission to attempt to take them out, but now in 2019, we will see a divine rebirth of God's people that will move them further into their destinies and purposes. The God of breakthrough is upon us, and the resurrection power of God is going to bring a great overturning of the dead and dry places.

Esther Season: Accelerated Positioning and Repositioning

This is an Esther season right now because this divine rebirth that is going to take place will raise up God's people into a greater level of positioning. This is being done to release His love and His goodness and power in the earth. There is going to be accelerated promotion and positioning in 2019. There will be many sudden positionings and repositionings in both the Church and the world. I saw in a vision the hand of the Lord repositioning pieces on a chessboard at such an accelerated pace. As He was moving, shifting, rearranging and repositioning, I heard the sounds of "grumbling" in the Body of Christ. The sounds rose and I heard the Church's grumbles: "They shouldn't be there," or, "I don't agree with that positioning," and, "They are not right for that position."

Then I heard the Lord release a warning: "Do NOT despise the positioning. Continue to ask for eye salve to see what I am doing for My positioning is perfect. Do not speak poison over My positioning. You MUST lean in, in 2019, more than ever to have My heart, to know My Word and to hear My voice. Move in discernment to discern the new thing I am doing. Continue to ask for eye salve to discern what I am doing. For there will be many surprises in the positioning, but My positioning is PERFECT."

A "Crossroad Choice"

The Lord showed me there is going to be a "crossroad choice" for many in 2019. It is going to be the place where many will ask, "Do I go the way I think I should go, or the way God is going?" For some, the pathways the Lord is going to move in and the way He is going to lead His people in 2019 may feel like they are going "off the beaten track" and to a place they have never been before. For many people it will be very uncomfortable. But these pathways that seem so "out of left field" and so completely "not what I expected," are going to be the places of greater destiny, greater life and positioning, to see His power move through them in ways they have never seen.

There will be frequent times where many will find themselves completely out of their comfort zones and in places that seem to utterly surpasses their "capacity." That's the point. The Lord is going to demonstrate His power so PROFOUNDLY through you in 2019, it is going to cause a beautiful and deeper level of intimacy in your life with Jesus. You will see Him move through you in things you could never have accomplish by yourself. It's a glorious place.

There will be a temptation in these uncomfortable places to stay in what you have known or what you "want." I want to encourage you: the plans and pathways of God are FAR BETTER than what you have dreamed about for yourself. These "crossroad choice" places will birth in you a resolve that no one will ever take from you, IF you choose His way. It will build a fortification in you that will never be stolen. It will see you positioned for a greater impartation of His fire to say, "I will go wherever You lead me." It's a greater and louder "YES" to Him to follow Jesus. A deeper level of radical abandonment to Him and His calling. A fire that burns only to see His name lifted high—His glory and goodness seen across the earth, and a place of awakening to the privilege it is to represent Jesus and the Gospel in the earth.

In these "crossroad choices," these places of a deeper "YES" given to the Lord, there will be an even greater increase released upon the Church. We cannot even begin to imagine the increase God is getting ready to release in 2019, but this increase MUST be carried by a heart that is laid down and living for Him and His way; moving in maturity and not living in soulish agenda, but pure devotion to their first love—JESUS!

"The Roar of My Justice"

"As My power and majesty are demonstrated in the Church and across the earth in exponential ways in 2019, the roar of MY JUSTICE will come forth! I will roar My justice over the Church. It will bring sudden shifts, sudden breakthroughs and sudden restorations, but I will also roar My justice over the nations.

"I decree that in 2019 the nations will tremble at the roar of My justice and My power. I decree that EVERY knee will bow and EVERY tongue will confess that I am Lord. I am revealing My justice and overturning the injustice that has taken place for so long. There will be a mighty acceleration of My justice to overturn injustice seen in the earth in 2019. There will be mighty demonstrations showing that I am the God who sits in the heavens and laughs at the plans of man.
"I am going to move mightily in power. I will demonstrate My power to show that I am the God who cannot be moved. I will shake and I will rearrange to bring forth My glory; to bring forth the greatest time upon the earth of My glory being seen. It's time for MORE! It's time for the nations to see that I am the Lord. My kindness and My power will bring forth a mighty repentance in the earth, and the nations will begin to shake and change. (Photo via Flickr)

"Yes, there will be significant uproars and battles; but My people, you must remember that My roar of justice is being released upon the earth and the roar of My victory is being released! My roar is opening up the gates of victory! The gates of victory are now being opened. The shaking must come through the roar of My justice to bring forth My victory and usher in My glory.

"Truly, I am bringing My people to the place of faith that believes with great fire and conviction that a nation CAN be changed in a day. The roar of My justice over the nations will activate a great birthing in the nations to see My Kingdom and glory come and My name lifted high. Don't be afraid when you see the nations shake. Know that the roar My victory and justice are being released!"

Marked by His Majesty

I heard the Lord say, "Get ready, My people. Get ready in 2019 to be marked by My majesty!"
I saw such a branding taking place upon the people by the majesty of God being revealed in the Church—marked for life and forever changed by the revelation of who He is as well as His majesty and His power. It's going to change everything. 2019 will leave the Body of Christ and the world forever changed. As the King of glory steps in, things will not be the same. Don't try and hold onto what has been. Don't try to work things out in your head; just look for Him and trust Him. A great unveiling is about to take place...King of glory, King of majesty, come in! Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 5:20, “do not treat prophecies with contempt” and the Lord said in Isaiah 55:11, “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

Several prophets had prophesied that Donald Trump would win the US Presidential election in 2016 and that God would replace the evil regime in a neighbouring country with His chosen righteous government. Both leaders had defied the odds and the fulfilment of the will of God as the words of these prophets came to pass irrespective of what men think! - Donald Trump won the presidential election and the neighbouring country has a new government. Praise God!

All the forces of darkness cannot stop what God has ordained (Isaiah 14:27).

If God has called you and you are willing and obedient, you will be chosen. However, if you decline God's calling, He will find someone else who will. Listen to this short inspiring message from Reinhard Bonnke:-

When God called me to a ministry to impart fire to the Body of Christ, the calling awoken the forces of darkness because this fire impartation greatly threatened their dominion.

In order to prevent me from walking into what the Lord has called me, I was ridiculed, slandered, discredited and severely criticised by respected pastors and church leaders who are with influence and connection. But I persevered amidst the difficulties and pressed on, trusting in His promise. After all, the final accountability is between me and God, not others. Many churches and christian Community rejected and stayed away from me.

Today, those who had previously tried to prevent me from walking in my calling, in their ignorance and perhaps out of their concern and love, are now either my friends or my associates.

Saved or Self-deceived

God replaced Saul with David as the King of Israel because God said, “I have found David, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will."

The Lord said in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

There are two kinds of sin before God: the sin of rebellion in disobeying what God has commanded us to do; the other is doing what God has not commanded at all.

A man of God wrote:- “The safest place in spiritual warfare is obedience. In the center of His will, we face only the situations we are equipped to win. Outside of the center is where many Christians fall, facing undue pressures that are self-inflicted. His will is the only safe place to be.”

John MacArthur is an an excellent preacher of the Word and his messages of truth are very effective to touch and transform lives if he has encountered God the Consuming Fire, to know Him in a deeper way. Acts 4:13 described this of the priests, elders and teachers of the Law, “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.”

Watchman Nee wrote:- “At Christ's birth, those who sought Him earnestly (the Magi) had little knowledge of the Scriptures; whereas those having great knowledge of the Scriptures (the Teachers of the Law and Chief Priests) did not seek Him. By this we can see that having scriptural knowledge does not necessary mean one knows God.

Awesome Testimonies of a Fearless & Mighty Prophetess - Nancy Coen

I am indeed humbled that this year, God led several of His mighty spiritual giants to visit us in Singapore, to prepare us for ‘greater things’ to come. These visitors sent by God are the last days forerunners and revivalists. Their lives bear mighty testimonies.

One of them was Prophetess Nancy Coen. Her testimonies bear the mighty work of God to her faith that she is even prepared to be a martyr for Christ if called. This willingness to be martyred was demonstrated in an occasion especially how she led a jihadist, who had beheaded 500 pastors and burned down 600 Churches, to accept Christ as his saviour.

A Season of Great Challenge

With the Lord’s imminent return, He wants His church to know their true identity and take back what the devil has stolen by violence. There will be a ‘showdown between good and evil’.

God bestowed the name “School of Fire Starters” to our school and honored me with the name “Fire-Starter”. With that honor comes the sacred responsibility of fulfilling His purpose to permeate His glory.

The name ‘Fire-Starter’ will arouse occultists moving in dark power to come for the purpose of a challenge to see whose “God” is more powerful. It will also draw skeptics to come with the intention to expose false, strange or profane fire. It will also attract those hungry for God who will come to receive the fire impartation no matter the distance nor cost.

In our fire conferences from New York City to several other countries, including Jerusalem and finally to the end of the Pacific Ocean of New Zealand, God has led such like-minded people to our meetings, thereby preparing us for ‘greater things’ to come.

Light is fire and fire is power to transform, purge, cleanse and purify even the most hardcore criminals into sons of the living God, like how the light that flashed upon murderer Saul instantly transformed him into Paul, the apostle of God.

With such challenges, the Lord will release His tsunami wave of fire to transform the occultists and the skeptics into sons of the living God.

He says in Romans 9:25-26, “I will call them ‘my people’ who are not my people; and I will call her ‘my loved one’ who is not my loved one,” and, “It will happen that in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people, ‘they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’ ”

The world is in need of true sons of God whom God will use mightily to take back whatever the enemy has stolen. The mark of Sonship is obedience and Spirit-led (Romans 8:14) to co-heir with Christ to share in his sufferings in order to share in His glory (Romans 8:17).

The Lord Jesus is returning to His glorious Church. Habakkuk 2:14,

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,

as the waters cover the sea.”

God’s Called and His Chosen Vessels of Honour

This article is written in response to some questions why believers fail to walk into their calling as prophesied and why certain anointed men and women can suddenly fall into spiritual dryness like the Spirit of God had departed from them.

Romans 11:29 says, “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” When Saul was disobedient, he could still prophesy with the gift of prophecy. He was still the king of Israel but the Spirit of God had departed from him. 1 Samuel 16:14, “But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.”

Bill Johnson quotes: “Glory is the manifested presence of Jesus. Revival is filled with stories of His manifest presence resting upon His people. HE lives in all believers, but the glory of His presence comes to rest on only a few.”

The 3 articles vide the link will provide insight of why many ‘fail to be chosen’ to walk in the highest calling as desired by the Lord. God’s requirement is a purified and holy temple to rest the manifest presence of His glory because God is holy.

In order for a prophecy to be fulfilled, one must heed the conditions and obey them. The Bible is full of “If you ... I (God) will ....”

The Lord spoke to Abram in Genesis 17:1-2, “I am God Almighty; walk before me and be blameless. I will confirm my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.”

In Zechariah 3:6-7, The angel of the Lord gave this charge to Joshua:

“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘If you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.”

In these last days, God has
released from His Throne Room,
the Fire of the Seraphim to burn away fear, doubt, disobedience and the dross of a person’s life before the person could be used for such calling. This furnace, heated seven times hotter, is a glorious blue flame like laser which I saw when I was taken up in the Spirit. It beamed through my spirit to purify my soul, perhaps like how the light that flashed upon Saul on his way to Damascus instantly transformed him from Saul to Paul, an Apostle of God.

In the natural, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual (Daniel 3:19).

Revelation 3:18

“I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.”

Fire is power. Fire is Holy and will burn away the veil that the enemy uses to blind us spiritually. Fire will cleanse and purify to help us to grow and build up our character.

Growth is the goal of the Christian, from faith to faith, glory to glory to the image and likeness of God. Maturity is mandatory. If a child ceased to develop, the parents would be concerned. Doctors would be called and tests would be run. When a child stops growing, something is wrong.

When a Christian stops growing, help is needed. If you are the same Christian you were a few months ago, be careful. It might be wise to get a checkup-not on your body, but on your heart; not a physical, but a spiritual one.

Prophetic Acts

What is a Prophetic Act?

Jesus did a prophetic act in John 9:6 when he spat on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes and healed his blindness.

A prophetic act is when we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to do something He tells us to do. As a result of the prophetic act,  we will see the door of miracle open to heal, deliver and impart, demonstrating that the Father is living in us to do His work.

John 14:10
Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

John 14:11
Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe in the evidence of the miracles themselves.

The video shows a prophetic act in a Chinese Church in Christchurch, New Zealand when 5 persons stood in different direction to receive impartation and when the act was performed, the fire of God instantly surged through them and they went down to the floor under the power of God. Praise God!

Manifestations of the Holy Spirit-- Responses to some commonly asked questions

Over the years, one of the most frequently raised issues concerning the revival that began in Toronto in 1994 has been that of the manifestations that occur when people are touched by the power of God.

Our meetings have often been characterized by visible signs of God touching people; with manifestations such as falling under the power of the Spirit, laughing, crying and shaking.

Some people have questioned why these manifestations occur and if they are biblical.

THE DISCIPLES MANIFESTED THE HOLY SPIRIT AT PENTECOST

When the Holy Spirit fell at Pentecost, the waiting believers experienced the power of God:

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." (Acts 2:1-4)

"Some, however, made fun of them and said, ‘They have had too much wine’. Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: ‘Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. ‘These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning!’” (Acts 2:13-15)

They manifested the Holy Spirit by speaking in tongues and drunken behaviour! This gives us reason to suppose that when the Holy Spirit fell on them they were so overwhelmed in their physical beings that they looked "drunk" – perhaps staggering around, laughing and even falling.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit can be translated as being "completely immersed" in the power and presence of the Living God. John the Baptist, speaking of Jesus, described him as the one who would “baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with Fire" (Luke 3:16). The implication is that this is a powerful experience that one would expect to feel and have some outward sign or manifestation.

WE ARE SUPPOSED TO "FEEL" THE HOLY SPIRIT

Especially in the West we have been conditioned to rationalize every experience and not to trust our emotions. We are so afraid of being caught up in emotionalism that we can miss the fact that we were designed to feel the presence of the Living God because He is a person.

God is an emotional God; throughout the Bible He expresses a full range of emotions, including love, compassion, anger, sorrow and even regret (1 Sam 15:11). God has made us emotional beings because emotions give life a colour and a richness of experience. A marriage without any emotions or outward signs of affection would be called loveless. In the same way, our relationship with our loving Heavenly Father and Jesus our bridegroom is designed to be experienced at an emotional level. He expects us to respond to Him in our emotions so it is hardly surprising that in His presence we experience laughter, tears and deep levels of peace.

(This does not endorse excessive over-emotional behaviour that originates in a carnal desire for attention).

CHILD-LIKE TRUST IS ESSENTIAL

The first requirement for receiving more of God’s presence is a child-like belief that He wants to bless us. This is faith – coming to God in belief that He is good.

“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” (Luke 11:11-13)

Sadly, instead of receiving like little children, some critics worry about falling into deception or being taken in by a counterfeit experience of God. If we come to God and ask him for more of the Holy Spirit, he won’t give us a "snake" or a "scorpion" or in other words some kind of demonic experience.

Some critics have described the manifestations as being demonic; by doing so they seem to put more faith in the enemy’s ability to deceive and control us than God’s ability to protect and bless us.

BE SLOW TO JUDGE

We have to exercise discernment in the Holy Spirit when we see a manifestation that on first glance might appear to be "strange".

What would you think if someone came home from a religious meeting and they couldn’t speak? You might be tempted to say that it was demonic. Yet in Luke 1, we see how Zechariah was struck dumb in the presence of God and couldn’t speak throughout Elizabeth’s pregnancy.

"Meanwhile, the people were waiting for Zechariah and wondering why he stayed so long in the temple. When he came out, he could not speak to them. They realized he had seen a vision in the temple, for he kept making signs to them but remained unable to speak." (Luke 1:21-22)

Similarly, Saul was struck temporarily blind by his encounter with Jesus on the Damascus Road:

"Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything." (Acts 9:8)

What if you witnessed something like this as a casual observer? You see a guy fall under the power of God and when he gets back up again he’s blind! That doesn’t sound right does it? It can’t be Jesus, surely – it must be the devil! Can you see how pre-conditioned our thinking is – how easily we ascribe supernatural, out of the box events to the devil but not to God?

Some might even criticize something similar to Peter’s experience in Acts 10:10 where “Peter fell into a trance” as "New Age".

Sometimes there is actual demonic activity in a meeting – that is the demons are departing from people as the power of God falls on them. We have found that sometimes in a meeting, the presence of God is such that people are spontaneously freed from evil spirits – these may manifest as they are leaving the person.

THE ISSUE OF SELF-CONTROL

Some people will ask, what about self-control? Isn’t that one of the fruit of the spirit? So why would people being touched by God show such little self-restraint?

Similarly, people like to comment that "The Holy Spirit is a gentleman", implying that he wouldn’t so take control over your body that you seem "out of control".

However scriptural evidence shows that God often moves on people in ways that they have little choice in how to respond. On the Damascus Road, Saul was clearly not in control of what was happening to him and yet this encounter bore amazing fruit in his life. At the inauguration of Solomon’s Temple, the presence of God was so overwhelming that the priests couldn’t stay standing.

Sometimes in the context of a public meeting, people do "act up" in uncontrolled carnal behaviour; perhaps to gain attention or else just because they are desperate to feel "included". We seek to pastor these people and help them to calm down and receive from God for real.

Are we really ever out of control if God is in control?

When we surrender ourselves to the Holy Spirit it’s just like driving a car – we make the decision to move over and let him take the wheel. Are we out of control? No, we just have a different driver now.

WHAT IS THE FRUIT OF IT?

Manifestations are evidence of the fact that God is touching a person or that His presence is with us here and now. But what about after the falling over or laughing or crying? What is the lasting fruit of these experiences?

In late 1995, a Christian sociologist, Margaret Poloma, asked to interview a cross-section of people who had fallen under the power of the Spirit. Margaret surveyed around 1,000 people. The survey found that 92% of people testified to the fact that they were more in love with Jesus since the experience than they had ever been in their lives. 82% of people mentioned that they were more motivated and excited about sharing Jesus with family and friends than ever before.

In statistical terms those are very high percentages to extrapolate from any sample group of people. Emotionalism or demonic activity would not lead people to love Jesus more and want to share Him with others more.

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF COMMON MANIFESTATIONS:

Falling to the ground

“The priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud” (2 Chronicles 5:14 NASV)

It seems that the presence of God was so powerful their legs gave out and they fell to the floor.

Daniel fell forward:

“As he [Gabriel] came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate…while he was speaking to me, I was in a deep sleep, with my face to the ground. Then he touched me and raised me to my feet.” (Daniel 8:17-18)

Shaking

“My legs gave way beneath me and I shook in terror” (Habbakuk 3:16 NLT)

“The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.” (Matthew 28:4)

Laughing

“Abraham fell face down; he laughed…”  (Genesis 17:17)

Joy & Childlikeness

Given the fact that God affirms childlikeness, it’s not that surprising that people who are touched by the power of God sometimes act in a child-like way. We have seen people filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit laugh, roll around on the floor and run about just like children.

In the Bible, Jesus himself was overcome by joy:

“At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said” (Luke 10:21)

King David acted undignified when he was so overcome with the joy of the Lord that he danced in the street in his underwear. His wife was scornful of him but his response was;

“I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes.” (2 Samuel 6:22)

PROPHETIC SYMBOLISM – ACTING THINGS OUT

Sometimes under the power of the Spirit, people are communicating something through their actions, rather than just responding emotionally to God’s touch.

Examples:

Simulating flying like an eagle

Roaring like a lion

Crowing like a cockerel

Once, at a gathering of pastors in Stirling, Scotland, the worship leader led the worship beautifully but every now and again would crow like a cockerel. When I asked her what was going on, she replied, “I feel like the Lord is saying, ‘Church, it’s time to wake up! There’s a new day coming. It’s time to wake up!'”

In 1998 when Microsoft launched Windows 98 they had a TV commercial in which a cockerel flew up onto a fence and crowed. The tag line appeared on screen "It’s a new day!”. Nobody would be offended by this advert, so why are so many offended when God speaks this way in the church?

Throughout scripture God loves to speak through pictures, stories and prophetic symbolism as these things communicate so clearly to our hearts, often by-passing our "cerebral" analytical selves.

The Apostle Paul explains:

“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on man’s wisdom, but on God’s power.” (1 Corinthians 2:4-5)

“People who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds like foolishness to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.” (1 Corinthians 2:14 NLT)

IN CONCLUSION

To the rational mind, the things of the Spirit seem like foolishness. So when we see something that we would consider "strange" we need to be slow to pass judgment and use the discernment that the Holy Spirit provides. We can trust our heavenly Father to give us good gifts when we ask for them. So let us be unafraid and press in to ask Him for more of his wonderful Holy Spirit.
