False Humility (2)

Continue from https://arsenaloffire.blogspot.com/2024/05/false-humility.html

Paul said in Galatians 5:16-18, “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”

Watchman Nee depicted, “The works of the Holy Spirit are done through man’s spirit while the works of the enemy are all done through man’s sinful flesh”

Romans 3:23, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” The flesh or carnal is a sinful nature.

Galatians 5:19-21:-

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

The sinful nature has pride which prevents us from doing the will of the Father.  Pride hinders us from having the faith to truly believe  in God, to walk in obedience and do the will of the Father. We cannot please God without faith and we need His fullness in us to have the faith to believe in Him.  Genesis 15:6, “Abram believed the LORD, and He credited it to him as righteousness.”

Maturity in Christ is how much are we filled with the Spirit of God.

John 3:34

“For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.”

Colossians 1:19

“For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him”.

Romans 8:14

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”

This is the prime hinderance to our walk by the Spirit so how could we teach others to live in humility when we ourselves are not filled with His fullness to walk in the Spirit and in true humility. The Word of God are full of the Spirit and Life (John 6:63), alive and active (Hebrews 4:12) and “Is not my word like fire,' declares the LORD, 'and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?”

Humility is the key to demonstrate and manifest the power of His words in signs. The more humble one is at God's feet, the more useful he is in God's hand.

We need to be filled with the fullness of God to have the Christlike’s humility to truly manifest and demonstrate His glory for the world. Then we will be like Paul which the handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them (Acts 19:11-12). Peter was so full of the Spirit that radiated upon his shadow and healed the sick (Acts 5:15).

Reinhard Bonnke said, one time he went to a shop in South Africa. And the shop attendant looked into his eyes and began to weep profusely.

Then Reinhard asked, “Lord, what happened?” And the Lord said, “I live inside you and I look through your eyes at times. When someone encounters Me in your eyes, he cannot stand it.”

Jesus was so full of the Spirit that when a woman touched Him, He could feel instantly that the power had gone out from Him (Luke 8:46).

God is fire. The fullness of God in us makes us flames of fire (Hebrews 1:7) to manifest His words in power. That the words we speak, are full of the Spirit and Life that carry a far higher spiritual power and authority into the spiritual realm.

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:4, “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power,” and added in 1 Corinthians 4:20, “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”

Only when we are filled with the fullness of God, are we then able to walk by the Spirit and in true humility to demonstrate and manifest the power of the Words of God in signs. Without His fullness, we can’t work with God in Spirit of unity or in Oneness with Him (John 10:37-38, 14:11).  This is the biblical truth.

False Humility

God resists falsehood or false humility but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6) who is a willing and obedient vessel (Isaiah 1:19) to do the will of the Father. False humility is pride, like Saul who did not fully obey the Lord because he was afraid of the men and so he gave in to them (1 Samuel 15:23-24). The result of his pride to look good to his men out of fear rather than obeying God, the LORD torn the kingdom of Israel from him. The Spirit of God also departed from him (1 Samuel 16:14). God desires 100% obedience, no compromise.

The mark of Sonship is humility to obey and do the will of the Father.

After the fire of God surged through my entire body like lightning in 2004, I became an evidential instrument as a testimony and witness for our Lord (John 15:27, Acts 1:8). And the Lord worked with me and confirmed His word by the signs that accompanied me (Mark 16:20).

My willingness to take the step of faith to obey God despite the consequences of being severely insulted and humiliated has impact the life of many outstanding ministers of God, empowering church leaders to greater heights in their ministries to advance God’s kingdom and for His glory. Hallelujah!

Testimony is a very powerful tool in evangelism. If you are willing to bear witness for Him, heaven will back you up.

God is pouring down His Spirit upon ALL people in greater measure (Joel 2:9, Haggai 2:9). Many are called but few are chosen. The God chasers who are humble, willing and obedient to do the will of the Father, will certainly not miss His grace to be raised to host His fire and manifest glory.

Hosting His Presence - True Humility

Jesus says in Matthew 11:29, "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Are we willing to be humble enough for God to rest His glory upon us so that He can use us as His earthly vessels to do His work? If we are willing, our ministries will be more effective and awesome for He is the One Who works, while we rest in Him!

Moses carried the glory of God as he was a very humble man as stated in Numbers 12:3 "Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth."

In contrast, Saul disobeyed due to his pride and arrogance and the Spirit of God (manifest presence of His glory) departed from him (1 Samuel 16:14).

It takes humility to obey His voice. Obedience is the mark of true sonship. This is true humility in God's sight, and the measure of how much the King of Glory can live in us, depends on how obedient we are to do the will of God.

A man of God wrote:- “Humility has nothing to do with how much or how little money we have. Jesus said that He was humble, yet He possessed the universe and had all power (Matthew 11:29 NLT). The devil, on the other hand, has had everything stripped from him and he is full of pride (Isaiah 14:12-15).

Humility is exalting God and His Word and His plan above your own and willingly being obedient to all that He says. Jesus submitted His will completely to the Father and He was humble. In light of that, if we submit our will to the Father with willing obedience, then we too will be walking in humility.”
