False Humility (2)

Continue from https://arsenaloffire.blogspot.com/2024/05/false-humility.html

Paul said in Galatians 5:16-18, “Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”

Watchman Nee depicted, “The works of the Holy Spirit are done through man’s spirit while the works of the enemy are all done through man’s sinful flesh”

The flesh or carnal is a sinful nature. For the acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. In Galatians 5:19-21, Apostle Paul warned that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The sinful nature has pride.  Pride hinders us from having the faith to truly believe in God, to walk in obedience and do the will of the Father. And without faith, we cannot please God (Hebrew 11:6).  For Abram believed the LORD, and He credited it to him as righteousness (Genesis 15:6). To have that faith, we need God’s fullness in us.

Maturity in Christ is how much are we filled with the Spirit of God.

John 3:34

“For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.”

Colossians 1:19

“For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him”.

Romans 8:14

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”

This is the prime hinderance to our walk by the Spirit so how could we teach others to live in humility when we ourselves are not filled with His fullness to walk in the Spirit and in true humility. The Word of God are full of the Spirit and Life (John 6:63), alive and active (Hebrews 4:12) and “Is not my word like fire,' declares the LORD, 'and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29).

Humility is the key to demonstrate and manifest the power of His words in signs. The more humble one is at God's feet, the more useful he is in God's hand.

We need to be filled with the fullness of God to have the Christlike’s humility to truly manifest and demonstrate His glory for the world. Then we will be like Paul which the handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them (Acts 19:11-12). Peter was so full of the Spirit that radiated upon his shadow and healed the sick (Acts 5:15).

Reinhard Bonnke said, one time he went to a shop in South Africa. And the shop attendant looked into his eyes and began to weep profusely.

Then Reinhard asked, “Lord, what happened?” And the Lord said, “I live inside you and I look through your eyes at times. When someone encounters Me in your eyes, he cannot stand it.”

Jesus was so full of the Spirit and power that when a woman touched Him, He could feel instantly that the power had gone out from Him (Luke 8:46).

God is a consuming fire. The fullness of God in us makes us flames of fire (Hebrews 1:7) to manifest His words in power. That the words we speak, are full of the Spirit and Life that carry a far higher spiritual power and authority into the spiritual realm.

Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:4, “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power,” and added in 1 Corinthians 4:20, “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”

Only when we are filled with the fullness of God in Spirit and Power are we then able to walk by the Spirit and in true humility to demonstrate and manifest the power of the Words of God in signs. Without His fullness, we can’t work with God in Spirit of unity or in Oneness with Him (John 10:37-38, 14:11).  This is the biblical truth.

God bless!
