CHAPTER 1

Journey into the Baptism of Fire

There are a number of biblical accounts that narrate the supernatural encounters of certain men with the fire of God. The lives of these men were never the same again after these encounters. They received new assignments from heaven and went on to transform the world they lived in.

In the Exodus 3:2 account, we read that the Lord appeared to Moses in flames of fire out of the midst of a bush. This fire of the Lord that set the bush on fire also set Moses on fire and he was commissioned by the Lord to deliver the Israelites out of the hand of the Egyptian Pharaoh.

In the Isaiah 6:6, 7 account, we read that the angel of the Lord touched Isaiah’s lip with a tong of fire manifested as a burning coal. Thereafter, his prophetic ministry was never the same again.

In the Acts 2:3 account, we read that tongues of fire appeared to the 120 disciples in the Upper Room and rested on each one of them. Since then the Church was birthed and advanced forcefully with the empowering fire of the Holy Spirit.

In the Acts 9: 3 account, we read that Saul of Tarsus, on the road to Damascus encountered the flashing light from heaven which is a form of the fire of God. He was dramatically transformed and became the Apostle Paul who turned the world upside down for the Lord Jesus Christ.

I would have never believed that the heavenly encounters of these men could be mine to experience until I encountered the baptism of fire myself.

In 2004, I had a powerful encounter with the fire of God while attending a course at a Chinese Seminary in California. I received the baptism of fire without hands being laid on me. The fire of God surged through my entire body like a powerful voltage of electricity, lasting for a few minutes. During that encounter, the Spirit of the Lord came upon me in power (1 Samuel 16:13, Acts 1:8) and the glory of the Lord rested upon me. Through this encounter, I was not only transformed from being a worldly man into a man who loves and fears the Lord, I also offered myself as a vessel totally surrendered to the Lord for His will and glory.

From that eventful day onward, the Lord bestowed upon me a very powerful warfare anointing with a mission to impart this gift to the Body of Christ....

第1章進入火的洗礼的超自然旅程

圣经有不少段落记载某些人与神的火的超自然相遇，之后他们的生命就彻底改变，再也不一样了。他们领受从天而来的新任务，进而改变了他们周遭的世界。

在出埃及记三章2节的记载中我们读到，神从荆棘里火焰中向摩西显现。这把从神来的火烧着了荆棘，也烧着了摩西，神交给他一项重任：把以色列人从埃及人手下拯救出来。

在以赛亚书六章6至7节，我们读到神的使者以火剪夹着红炭碰触以赛亚的唇，此后，他的预言事奉不再一样了。

在使徒行传二章3节，我们读到有舌头如火焰显现出来，分开落在聚集于马可楼上的一百二十位门徒头上。教会从此诞生，带着圣灵的火所赋予的大能不断拓展。

在使徒行传九章3节，我们读到大数人扫罗在往大马士革的路上，忽然有一道光从天上下来，四面照射着他。那光就是神的火的一种形式。從此他徹底变了一個人，成了為主耶穌基督翻转世界的使徒保罗。

我从不相信有一天我也会像这些人一样有属天的相遇，直到我亲身经历火的洗礼。

2004年我有一次与神大能的相遇，神的火临到我，那时我在加州的一所华人神学院上一门课，神的火降下来穿透我全身，就像强大的电流一样，持续了好几分钟。在那次的经历中，圣灵的大能临到我（撒母耳记上十六章13节;使徒行传一章8节），神的荣耀停留在我身上。那次与神面對面，不但使我从一個世俗的人改变成一個爱神、敬畏神的人，也使我愿意將自己献上作神手中的器皿，完全归神使用，荣耀祂的名。

从事情发生的那天开始，我蒙神赐与强烈的争战恩膏，我有一个使命，就是要把这恩赐传递给主内的肢体。。。

The Ministries of Jesus Christ 【耶稣基督的事工】

In Luke 4:14-21, “Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.””

Jesus did not just say he had preached the best sermon that drew huge crowds or had large number of people who flocked to his church every Sunday. The devil himself could deliver the best sermon that even great and well-learned theologians today could not match.

A man of God wrote: “True Christianity is not just a matter of words; it is a demonstration of God's love and power to save, heal and deliver. Jesus did not just talk about God's power to heal and save, He demonstrated it.”

A preacher in Texas once shared a testimony that he had prepared a great sermon to speak during his coming Sunday Church Service. When he stood at the pulpit that Sunday morning, the power of God swept him to the floor and he was completely numb, unable to get up. He was the only pastor of the Church so his wife had to take over to deliver the sermon. When she began to speak, signs, wonders and miracles filled the entire church with healing and deliverance. The lead pastor was still lying on the floor immobilised even after the Church Service had ended.

在路加福音十四章14至21节说到，“耶稣满有圣灵的能力，回到加利利，他的名声就传遍了四方。他在各会堂里教训人，众人都称赞他。耶稣来到拿撒勒，就是他长大的地方，在安息日，照他平常的规矩进了会堂，站起来要念圣经。有人把先知以赛亚的书交给他，他就打开，找到一处写着说：“主的灵在我身上，因为他用膏膏我，叫我传福音给贫穷的人，差遣我报告被掳的得释放、瞎眼的得看见，叫那受压制的得自由，报告神悦纳人的禧年。” 于是把书卷起来，交还执事，就坐下。会堂里的人都定睛看他。耶稣对他们说：“今天这经应验在你们耳中了。””

耶稣并不只是说祂传讲了最好的道而吸引了大批人群，或者每个星期天都有很多人到祂的教会。魔鬼可以传讲最好的道，连今日伟大而且学识渊博的神学家也无法与他相提并论。

一位上帝的仆人写道：“真正的基督教不只是言语；它示范了上帝的爱和拯救的大能，医治和释放。耶稣不只是谈论上帝拯救的大能和拯救，祂将这一切显示了。”

德克萨斯州的一位传教士分享了他的一个见证。他为了来临的礼拜天主日崇拜准备了一篇非常棒的道。星期天早上当他站在讲台上时，上帝的大能将他击倒在地上，他完全麻木，无法站起来。他是教会唯一的牧师，所以他的妻子只好代替他。当她开始传讲时，医治和释放的神迹、奇事、异能充满了整个会所。教会结束后，主任牧师仍然躺在地上动弹不得。

Trembling under the fear of God 【在敬畏上帝的情况而颤抖】

People trembling in the presence of God is a common sight in our meetings as God comes in His fire and glory. Wherever we have preached the word, the listeners trembled, for the Lord said in Isaiah 66:2, “ ... This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word.”

When I stood at the pulpit to preach the gospel for the first time at the beginning of our ministries, the fire of God came down, throwing many of the listeners to the floor while some stood trembling under the power of God. The fire of God surged through my interpreter and she too, fell down to the floor trembling.

Our AOF New York pastor blessed a visiting apostle with our book, “烈火军火库”. The book touched him and the apostle organised a meeting in China for us to share to about 40 pastors from various churches. Almost all the pastors trembled in their seats when God’s word was shared.

In Jerusalem, the hosting pastor, upon seeing that we did not have any notes with us, came up to remove the pulpit stand and was swept by the fire of God and stood trembling on the stage.

Trembling under the fear of the Lord in a norm in our meetings. Acts 7:32 depicts “that when the Lord told Moses, ‘I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob’, Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look.”

Prophet Samuel carried the manifest presence of God. When he arrived at Bethlehem, the elders of the town trembled when they met him. They asked, “Do you come in peace?” (1 Samuel 16:4).

Trembling is an awesome display of the fear of God when He comes in His manifest presence, demonstrating to the people that our God is real so that hearts are drawn to Him. We must not only put God on display for the world to see through the powerful demonstration of His word but to demonstrate the radiance of God shining out from us for the world to see that even demons could see (Mark 5:6-7, Acts 16:16-17).

When the fire of God touches your spirit, it will trigger a vibration and shaking. Fire will cause a movement.

在我们所有的聚会中，在敬畏上帝的情况而颤抖是常见的。使徒行传七章32节描绘了，当上帝告诉摩西 “我是你列祖的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神。’摩西战战兢兢，不敢观看。”

先知撒母耳带着上帝彰显的同在。当他到达伯利恒时，镇上的长老在遇见他时颤抖。他们问他：“你是为平安来的吗？”（撒母耳记上十六章4节）。

当上帝带着祂彰显的同在向人们显明，证明祂是真实的，使人们的心亲近祂时，颤抖是对上帝敬畏的一种奇妙的表现。我们不仅要通过祂的话语显示祂的大能，让世界看到祂，而且要从我们身上发出的光显示上帝，以便即使是恶魔也能看见（马可福音五章6至7节，使徒行传十六章16至17节）。

The Manifest Presence of God’s Glory 【上帝荣耀彰显的同在】

The Lord said in Habakkuk 2:14, “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea”

A man of God wrote:- “Glory is the manifested presence of Jesus. Revival is filled with stories of His manifest presence resting upon His people. HE lives in all believers, but the glory of His presence comes to rest on only a few.”

In these last days, the Lord is filling His temple, which is our body with the tangible manifest presence of His glory similar to that of Solomon’s temple.

2 Chronicles 7:1-2

‘When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it.”

Through the Baptism of Fire, the Lord burned away all dross and purified me so that I could be used as a vessel to be filled with the tangible manifest presence of His glory with the mission to burn away the dross and purify the Lord’s warrior brides, preparing them to be the holy vessels for the Lord’s works.

The many testimonies are evidences that God has made me into a vessel, through deep cleansing, refining and purifying, worthy to carry the tangible manifest presence of His glory as Jesus said in John 14:11, “Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.”

耶和华在哈巴谷书二章14节说：“认识耶和华荣耀的知识要充满遍地，好像水充满洋海一般。”

一位上帝的仆人写道：“荣耀就是彰显耶稣的同在。复兴充满了祂荣耀彰显的同在于祂的子民身上的故事。祂活在所有的信徒里，但是祂荣耀的同在只停留在少数人身上。“

在末后的日子里，主正在以祂充满所罗门的殿的荣耀彰显的同在充满祂的圣殿，也就是我们的身体。

历代志下七章1-2节
所罗门祈祷已毕，就有火从天上降下来，烧尽燔祭和别的祭，耶和华的荣光充满了殿。因耶和华的荣光充满了耶和华殿，所以祭司不能进殿。

通过火焰的洗礼，主已经烧掉了我身上所有渣滓并洁净我，好让我可以成为一个充满祂荣耀彰显的同在的器皿，其任务就是烧掉主新妇战士身上的渣滓并洁净他们，准备他们成为主神圣的器皿，以便做神的工作。

许多奇妙的见证证明了上帝通过深层的洁净，熬炼和净化使我成为一个乘载祂荣耀彰显的同在的器皿，正如耶稣在约翰福音十四章11节所说的那样，“你们当信我，我在父里面，父在我里面；即或不信，也当因我所做的事信我。“

We thank God that in just 13 years, our ministry has grown from the ‘little child’ stage to the ‘father’ stage as classified in 1 John 2:12-14. With exposure in the cyberspace in this digital era supported by testimonies & connections, we are able to impact nations with the Fire Impartation, to burn away all dross and purify the Lord’s warrior brides, preparing them to be holy vessels for the Lord’s works. We give all glory to our Lord. Praise God!

Fire Impartation through Cyberspace 【通过网络空间进行火焰的分赐】

We are greatly encouraged by this morning’s successful Fire Impartation through ‘Live’ video to Holy Spirit Ministries in Auckland, New Zealand; a Church with an awesome healing & deliverance ministry founded by Apostle Leon Kang. We connected through Facebook where his profile shows that he has 5000 friends and 800 followers.

In 2017, Dr David Wong, President of Harvest Seminary (丰收神学院) in San Jose gave me the word that God would open the door for our Fire Ministries to New Zealand and Africa. His prophetic word came to pass very quickly when we were invited to speak in ChristChurch and Wellington in Sept 2018.

God works in amazing ways. He led John Tan, a retired architect from Auckland to Wellington to attend our meetings last September. John, who has been in the ministry for 40 years, was ‘zapped’ by the fire of God, for His purpose to plant AOF Ministries in Auckland. It was through Ps John Tan that Apostle Leon Kang contacted me to impart the fire to him.

The Fire Impartation this morning was mighty and awesome. We thank God that it is going to open more doors for this unique Fire Impartation vide cyberspace to reach out and bless more nations rapidly, without us having to travel there as per the word given to me by Nancy Coen.

Baptism of Fire 【火的洗礼】

When fire touches a person, the flesh cannot take it as it is very painful, depending on the density of the heat. I was taken up in the Spirit to witness the glorious blue flame that beamed through me, to understand the painful process when God puts a vessel into the fire to cleanse, purify and refine the vessel that He is going to use for His good works.

Zechariah 13:9

This third I will bring into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’ ”

Malachi 3:2-4

“But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord, as in days gone by, as in former years.”

Matthew 3:11

“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.”

Before the Lord will rest His Spirit of Glory, which is His manifest presence on a vessel, He will purify the vessel so that the vessel can work with Him in greater measure.

2 Timothy 2:20-21

“In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for extraordinary purposes and some for ordinary purposes. If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for extraordinary purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.”

This was the unique gift that the Lord spoke to me in 2004 that He would bestow upon me and God has used this precious gift to bring in the connection and open doors for our Fire Ministries to empower the body of Christ through Fire Impartation, for His purpose and glory.

Proverbs 18:16

“A gift opens the way for the give and ushers him into the presence of the great.”

Nancy Coen gave me the word that the authority that God has given me will change multitude of nations without me having to travel there. It is a confirmation of how the Lord has used me to impart the fire through telecommunication, the written contents in my book and articles. Praise God!

马太福音三章11节
我是用水给你们施洗，叫你们悔改；但那在我以后来的，能力比我更大，我就是给他提鞋也不配，他要用圣灵与火给你们施洗。

在主将祂的荣耀的灵，也就是祂同在的彰显停驻在祂的器皿之前，他将洁净那个器皿，以便器皿可以更大程度地与祂合作。

提摩太后书二章20-21节
在大户人家，不但有金器银器，也有木器瓦器，有作为贵重的，有作为卑贱的。人若自洁，脱离卑贱的事，就必做贵重的器皿，成为圣洁，合乎主用，预备行各样的善事。

这是主在2004年告诉我祂将赐给我的一份独特的礼物，而上帝使用这珍贵的礼物为我们的烈火事工联系并打开大门，为祂的旨意和荣耀，通过火焰的分赐授权基督的身体。

箴言十八章16节
人的礼物为他开路，引他到高位的人面前。

神透过南希科恩向我发话语，说上帝赋予我的权柄将改变许多国家而我不必亲自去那里。这证实了主如何利用我通过电信，我书中的内容和所写的文章传播火焰。赞美神！

A Time & Season for Everything.

In 2 Timothy 4:2, Paul charged Timothy to “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage – with great patience and careful instruction.”

When God sent us to a neighbouring country, we stayed there for four years to set up and plant ministries. However, during the last year in that country, we were reaping the fruits of our labour and became too complacent. Too complacent staying in a cozy place that the Lord told us He would send people to help us. It was because we were so spiritually blinded by our comfort that we did not know He had to drive us out in order to accomplish His will for us in our new season; that was, to move back to our country where He would connect us to be the overseas missionaries of a respected world-wide Church and preparing our season to be in USA.

In the process, we were betrayed and deceived in the final days of staying in the neighbouring country. Our ministry’s vehicle was clamped, water supply in our unit was cut off and our church members were blocked from entering our ministry’s centre. Our unit was surrounded and we were placed in a very threatening situation, and forced to make a quick exit and return to Singapore, to accomplish His will for our new season.

Despite the life threatening experiences, God had kept us safe.

Romans 8:28-31

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen!
