We all require the Baptism of Fire (Luke 3:16) because Fire of the Holy Spirit will stir our passion and set our hearts to be on fire for God.
Here are the 4 “Ps” of God’s fire:-
First “P” is God’s Fire of Purification
God purifies His people because He loves them. Zechariah 13 describes this as refining fire, to burn away all the dross, the junk that we have accumulated throughout our lives by our carnal living. God wants to refine us to be like Jesus.
His fire will burn away all the demonic defilements that have clung on to your lives - a supernatural deliverance where all demonic defilements, evil curses and works of the enemy have to go. God’s fire sets you free from every oppression, liberating your spirit - that changes your life to be a vessel of honour for God.
2nd “P” is the Fire of God’s Presence
Are you yearning for an encounter with God?
Have you ever truly experienced God's presence?
Well, Moses did. Exodus 6 tells us about His burning bush experience where he encountered God at Mount Horeb. It was a powerful encounter that transformed Moses’ life and his perception of who God is. A great sense of awe came upon him as he stood before the burning bush which did not burn up. It was a strange sight.
The fire of God’s presence changed Moses, a spirit of reverence and holiness came upon him that he had to take off his sandals and kneel before God.
The supernatural burning fire which did not consume the bush, is a miracle. When God’s fire is present, miracles take place. There will be supernatural transactions; supernatural provision; and supernatural protection.
Psalm 16:11 says, “… in Your presence there is fullness of joy.”
When the Presence of God comes by His Fire, there is fullness of joy, that gives you strength - strength to overcome struggles.
People of God, prepare to receive the fire of His presence and the joy of the Lord.
3rd P of God’s fire is Passion
Jesus says “to love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.” This is total Passion. When the fire of God comes upon you, there is renewed passion for God. The fire of Passion will stir your heart to burn with great enthusiasm for Him.
You will be HOT for God. A new zeal of the Lord will come upon you, stirring you to do greater things out of your love for Him.
Prepare to receive this impartation of God’s fire of Passion. This is a very powerful fire, not for the faint-hearted. You will be transformed to run the race with high energy. The love of God will burn in you, burning away every lukewarmness.
4th P of God’s Fire is Power
God’s fire of power is the working of the Holy Spirit in our lives. In Acts 2, “They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them”.
As the fire of God came down “the Spirit enabled them”.
If you are a preacher, when the fire of God comes upon you, you will preach with fire. Your message will bring conviction to the hearers, causing them to respond with repentance, obedience and holy living.
If you are an intercessor, when the fire of power comes upon you, you will receive supernatural revelations to pray effectively.
If you are in the deliverance ministry, the anointing of God’s fire will set the captives free quickly.
I know that many of you have been baptised by the Holy Spirit and you speak in tongues. That’s is great, but God wants you to go beyond just speaking in tongues. He wants the fire of the Holy Spirit in you to be activated so that you will be empowered to minister powerfully with spiritual gifts.
God wants to empower you to do greater works in these last days.
Fire to preach with power;
Fire to teach with divine revelation;
Fire to prophesy accurately;
Fire to pray prevailing prayers;
Fire to minister with signs and wonders;
Fire to heal;
Fire to set captives free;
Fire to Pastor with a passionate heart; and
Fire to move mountains
God bless!
