Testimony of Kenneth Hagin

When I shared a testimony of Kenneth Hagin to 40 pastors in a seminar in China in 2018 about the standard that God set for His disciples to place God first above family, most of the pastors were trembling on their seats under the fear of the Lord. The host’s wife angrily stormed out of the meeting, as the message specifically spoke to her.

 

The late Kenneth Hagin was one of the most influential American Pentecostal preachers who was often referred to as 'the Grand Daddy of the Word of Faith Movement.'

 

Diagnosed with "a deformed heart and an incurable blood disease" from birth, Hagin was partially paralyzed by age 15, confined to bed, and was told he had little time to live.

 

In April 1933, his heart stopped beating, and his other vital signs failed three times. In each of these instances, Hagin said he felt himself being dragged to hell. In the third instance, he prayed for Christ's help and forgiveness—and came back to life. He died at the age of 86 in 2003.

 

Kenneth Hagin's Testimony:

 

Suddenly my heart stopped beating and I fell from my chair to the floor! I became as cold as ice all over my body. I had been dead twice when I suffered with heart trouble at the age of sixteen, so I knew when death came over me this time.

 

They carried me to the parsonage and summoned my wife from the woman's Sunday school class. As soon as she came into the room she knelt beside my bed and wept, Ï feel this is all my fault.

 

Then she told me she had been complaining to the Lord about my long absence from home. She never had mentioned a word of it to me. However, she said that one day as she was washing dishes, she had heard a voice saying, Í could take him away where he could never come back. 'She was startled, but dismissed it as her imagination playing tricks on her. Kneeling beside his bed she prayed this prayer of submission: 'Lord, if You will just spare my husband, I don't care how long he is gone or where he goes in Your will. I will not complain about it again.’

 

Then the Lord showed me where I had missed it too. When we had made a new consecration to the Lord to do His will, whatever it might be, we too can be  instantly healed and made completely well.

 

How did I get into that predicament? Instead of listening to God and putting His Word first, I had sought the advice of various pastors. All they could give me was natural counsel. They had said, 'Your first obligation is to your family. You have small children and you should be home with them. You shouldn't be out in the field.' One preacher after another told me that; so I took their advice. I tried to do what they had suggested: to do what I wanted to do in the natural - and I nearly died.

 

I finally learned that a man can fulfill his obligations to his family and still obey God."

When God called me to a ministry to impart the fire of God to the Body of Christ to raise up a people who will be supernaturally empowered, full of passion and purity, fearless and mighty to bring a swift transformation of lives, the calling awoken the forces of darkness because this fire impartation greatly threatened their dominion.

Due to my willingness to obey the Lord, I was insulted, discredited, slandered, and confronted with severe spiritual warfare as part of the refining process in order that my body is worthy to be His earthly vessel to evidently carry and host the ‘Fire Anointing’ putting the manifest glory of God on display for the world. God is a Consuming Fire (Deut. 4:23-23, Hebrews 12:29)

Despite the insults, I stay focused on my calling as “Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies (Romans 8:33). All the forces of darkness cannot stop what God has ordained (Isaiah 14:27).

 

Daniel was thrown into the Lions’ den for disobeying a decree issued by the king. In Daniel 6:20, when King Darius came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?”

 

In Daniel 6:21-22, Daniel answered, “O king, live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, O king.”

 

If God has called you and you are willing and obedient to walk in His ways (Exodus 33:13), you will walk in God’s favour and He will protect you and shut the mouth of the devil.

          Be humble to seek Godly Council from the Matured “in the multitude of Counsellors there is safety.” (Proverbs 11:14).

Testimony by Dr Tan Kok Beng

I am glad and honoured to be able to write a few words endorsing Rev. Dr Paul Ang and his AOF ministry.

 

In 2006, Rev. Dr. Paul Ang was in the Mission Team with me to Manila, Philippines. We were conducting Pastors and Leaders Conferences and Evangelistic Rallies at that time.

 

He was then known as Frank Ang, a businessman who loved the Lord and came on the Mission with us. In the days that followed, I noticed that Brother Frank had a “fire” anointing during the times when he ministered and prayed for people.

 

Then the Lord showed me that he had the anointing similar to that of the Apostle Paul. I was then led by the Holy Spirit to prophesy over him and prayed for him.

I told him that the Lord had given him the anointing of the Apostle Paul and that his name should then be called Paul. I prophesied this new name over him and prayed for God’s blessing and anointing on him for ministry.

 

I thank God that through subsequent meetings and fellowship with Rev. Dr. Paul Ang at my office, I could see the joy and the new anointing on him. Praise the Lord!

It is my great joy to know and see what God is doing in his life and blessing his ministry in AOF. I thank God for you, Brother Paul and may the Lord use you more mightily in the days to come.

Affirmation of the Ministry of Arsenal of Fire Global (AOF) and Rev Dr Paul KP Ang by Dr Jin Kim, California River of Life University

It is my pleasure to write an affirmation letter for Dr Paul Ang of Arsenal of Fire Global (AOF) ministry. I met Dr Paul Ang in 2016 at his conference in San Jose, California. At his conference, I noticed that he ministered powerfully with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Many fell, screamed, vomited and cried loudly when they were touched by the fire of God. There were divine healing, deliverance and power impartation. I was surprise as I have never seen such a strong manifestation of God’s anointing. After I was prayed for by Rev Dr Paul Ang, my anointing was reactivated and it increased significantly. On November 28 of that year, when I led a revival in Uganda, many miracles happened. Many were touched by the fire of God and they repented. Those who practiced witchcraft screamed and fell by the power of God. Many were set free from bondages and the sick were healed. The impartation of God’s fire upon me through the prayer of Rev Dr Paul Ang has significantly empowered my ministry. 

In 2018, I started a Bible College called California River of Life University with only four persons in USA. In 2019, I went to Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya with the aim to set up our university branch campuses there. However, only one campus was set up in Uganda with 12 local pastors. 

About a year later, I received a phone call from Rev Dr Paul Ang from Singapore. After some discussions, we started the Arsenal of Fire California Zoom Conference. At every zoom conference, he prayed for God’s blessings upon our university. Our University started to grow steadily and after six months, I opened another campus, and the number of African students grew from 12 to 150. 

Through the arrangement of Dr Kayongo, the Dean of our university in Uganda, we started to broadcast the Arsenal of Fire California Zoom Conference on an African TV station every Friday evening for 30 minutes. Through this TV programme, Rev Dr Paul Ang became a well-known evangelist in Uganda.

In one of the conference zoom, Rev Dr Paul Ang prophesised that 44 students from our university in Africa will continue the evangelistic calling of  the late Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. About 3 weeks later, Dr Kayongo, informed me that 20 pastors, who studied at the university, prayed for the Lord’s direction for their ministry. After they prayed for about 2 hours, the pastors, collectively received the Holy Spirit’s call for them to spread the gospel to their brothers in Africa. They later formed the “California River of Life University Mission Team for Africa”. 

In 2021, more than 500 pastors in Kampala wanted to start 3 branch campuses, but because of the lack of funds, I opened only one campus. This campus also have Ugandan women who work in Saudi Arabia as students, thus extending our reach to a closed country.

The anointing of God upon Rev Dr Paul Ang was very evident. As he prayed and prophesied over our university, the university attracted many students and expanded. Our university recognised that Rev Dr Paul Ang, through the power of the Holy Spirit working in him, has been a tremendous blessing to us.

The blessing that comes from the impartation of God’s fire through Rev Dr Paul Ang upon me and our university is overflowing. Three months ago, Pastor Paul Wabukoma, who lives in Mbale, Uganda, donated his 14-acre property to us to build a branch campus to provide a good education for the people there. I promised him that our university will provide the best biblical education in that city. I shared with Rev Dr Paul Ang of God’s blessing and asked him to come and lead a revival in Mbale and he agreed. I am pleased to announce that “One of the most anointed man of God from Singapore will lead a revival in Mbale, Uganda from 2nd – 4th December 2022”. 

I urge you all to prayerfully consider to come and join us in this revival. We are very excited with great expectation that God is going to ignite a great revival fire in Africa. 150 pastors have already indicated their attendance. 

Praise the Lord!

As Jesus said in Matthew 7:20, "So then, you will know them by their fruits”.  We can testify of the excellent fruits of Rev Dr Paul Ang’s AOF ministry. Look at our University, it grew from 12 to almost 800 students within a short period of 4 years. I became a much more anointed minister readily demonstrating the Holy Spirit’s power. There are many more examples of excellent fruits as a result of God’s blessing through Rev Dr Paul Ang’s ministry, but it would be too much to write them down.  I am sure that his ministry will shake Africa and save many souls.

Reconciliation Effort

 

We had a Zoom meeting on May 21. Among those who attended were the Chairman of RFM Malaysia, Dato Chua Jui Meng, RFM Deputy Chairman Edmund Chan, Apostle Jackie Mare, President of Heal the Land Ministries, South Africa and Chairman of RFN Singapore Apostle Wee Tiong Howe, RFN founding members, Rev Dr Elisha Chieng, Rev Dr Paul K P Ang, Rev Pauline Phua and Ps Andrew Tan. 

The meeting was to discuss the reconciliation effort, a request made by Ps Terence Jedidiah Poh of Asia Revival Centre, Penang through Apostle Jackie Mare to conduct a Zoom meeting on May 23rd for the purpose.

On the meeting of May 21st, we have unanimously made a collective decision which I have written to Apostle Jackie as follow:-

Dear Ap Jackie Mare,

I thank you very much, my beloved sister in Christ, for your heart to bring reconciliation between Pr Terence (PT) and I, the aggrieved party. Just to let you know, I don’t have any bitterness against him or anyone. I’ve concluded long ago that the unseen enemy is behind all these as this is not the first incident, nor will it be the last. 

AOF is an end-time power ministry, and the devil knows it. He will go all out to hinder this ministry and discredit it. We know the schemes of the enemy. The devil can even use God’s elect to work for him and we are not ignorant of it. The Bible has ample examples of such betrayals. The devil only works through those who want to do his bidding. 

I can meet PT and he can apologize, and I can accept his apology in love, but does this resolve the matter completely? The matter is more than just a cursory apology and acceptance. It is a spiritual matter that requires counselling and ministry accountability. If the root cause is not identified and dealt with, it will recur and cause more harm.

What Dato Chua shared on May 21st resonates with me. When one denounced the genuine work of the Holy Spirit and attributed it to the work of the devil without due diligence in checking, it is an alarming matter. One must also ask, did our Lord Jesus try to reconcile with those that said that His work is of the devil? No. It is blasphemy. Only God can deal with him. I’ve forgiven him. But I constantly asked myself, can I forgive, when the Word of God said that it is an unpardonable sin? I’m not a theologian, and I hope that someone can enlighten me? It is a complex matter not to be rushed through. 

The ministry of AOF is Holy Spirit’s fire and it is not strange fire. To have me accepting PT’s apology without him fully accepting AOF’s ministry is of God and not of the devil, I will compromise my integrity and more seriously, agreeing with him in attributing the work of the Holy Spirit in AOF ministry to the evil one. I do not want to unintentionally agree with his accusations by my acceptance of his apology, if he does not fully retract, point by point, the accusations that he made against AOF, I don’t see the purpose of having the meeting. 

I do not want the meeting to be a session where I have to clarify what I said in my sharing. I can see it coming by him asking you to ask me what I meant when I mentioned “Star Wars”.  For your info, I borrowed the term from the late Dr Morris Cerullo when he mentioned that there will be coming a time, that “Stars Wars” are coming and “the force of Almighty God is yours”. I was illustrating the point that our God will give His people supernatural weapons to fight the enemy of our souls in these last days. Our God the Almighty God is akin to “The force” in Star Wars. 

In summary, I will only meet him if he will fully retract what he said against my ministry. He must specifically say that he fully retracts what he said against AOF and I; he was wrong to say that AOF and I minister “strange” or “profane” fire. He must categorically say that he believes that the ministry of AOF and Rev Dr Paul Ang is of God and is biblically sound; that Rev Dr Paul Ang is a man of God who fears the Lord. If he agrees, his retraction and apology must be posted publicly on all the social media he has posted his accusations against AOF and I.

Whether he agrees or not, I forgive and bless him as I’ve done. We have spent much time on this, and we will move on if he is not ready to fully retract his accusations. When he is ready, we may revisit the case. There is much to do, and we should not be distracted. We will have to repair the damage done and to slowly bring healing and unity to the body. AOF will have to work doubly hard to gain back confidence in its ministry. May God grant you enthusiasm tempered with discernment, wisdom, and strength in this matter.

Affirmation of the Ministry of Arsenal of Fire Global (AOF) and Rev Dr Paul KP Ang by Revival Fire Movement, Malaysia (RFM) and Revival Fire Network, Singapore (RFN)

RFM and RFN had the opportunity to work with AOF and Rev Dr Paul Ang in the past one year to minister the fire of God to empower His church to revive His people for a global harvest. We, RFM and RFN, affirmed that the ministry of AOF is a supernatural ministry of God and Rev Dr Paul Ang is a man of God. We witnessed the fruits of the Spirit in his ministry. Many were touched by the power of God through the ministry of AOF and their testimonies are in Rev Dr Ang’s blog.

We are aware that the ministry of AOF is based on what is shared by Rev Dr Paul Ang in his book “Arsenal of Fire”, which is available online. The book is forwarded by many well-known church and ministry leaders. The book is biblically sound, and it has blessed many readers.  

Rev Dr Paul Ang began his ministry 18 years ago when he attended a course at a seminary in California, USA and was powerfully touched by the Lord. The fire of God surged through him and for many years, he was “burned” by God’s purification and empowering fire. He then gave up his business and dedicated himself to serving God. He isolated himself for many years to be molded, taught, and empowered by the Almighty God. He was conferred an honorary doctorate in pneumatology by Dr Jin Kim, President of California River of Life University in recognition of his dedicated service to bless God’s people with the Holy Spirit fire. 

Having known and worked with AOF and Rev Dr Paul Ang, RFM and RFN, unreservedly, declare our strong support for the ministry of AOF and Rev Dr Paul Ang. We hope that all of you will also lend the same support to AOF, and Rev Dr Paul Ang. God bless!

Briefly introducing, Rev Dr Elisha Chieng came from a non Christian background. He received Bachelor of Theology degree from Trinity Theological College, Singapore; Master of Divinity Degree from Asbury Theological Seminary USA; Master of Theolog from Westminster Theological Seminary, USA; Doctor of Ministry from Agape International Leadership Institute, USA.

He has served as a full time Pastor for 26 years in Methodist Church, serving as district Superintendent in 4 different districts for 12 years; as Chairman  of Board on Ministry for 8 years, overseeing over 100 Pastors.

He was the Dean and Chaplain of Agape International Leadership Institute, Malacca.
