We can’t achieve Pentecost without Calvary. The Spirit of Glory and of God rests on such vessel mightily (1 Peter 4:14) which has crucified his flesh like Paul who said in 1 Corinthians 15:31, “I die every day–I mean that, brothers–just as surely as I glory over you in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Only at the death of self will our spiritual life makes real progress to do God’s will working with Him in ONENESS because at the death of ‘SELF’, we do not fear humiliation, difficulties or being insulted.
I was invited to speak in a forerunner Church which pioneered the Charismatic Movement in the nation. The auditorium was fully packed with more than a thousand members attending the meeting. Many attended with curiosities especially with the Theme meeting ‘Fire Friday.’ God told me to manifest His presence on display through demonstration of the power of His word for the audiences.
It was an honour to stand at this pulpit where many great ministers of God have preached. It was my first invitation to speak in this Church.
Standing on the stage, I told the huge audiences that the glory of God was all over me and if the pastor of the church was to touch my clothing (Luke 8:46), he would fall under the power of God. Be like Peter. Please do not walk on water based on the written word of God but wait for the Rhema word from God telling you to do so.
Matthew 14:28-29 says that Peter walked on water..”Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”Come,” Jesus said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.”
The lead Elder stood forward to touch me and the Lord confirmed His word. The fire of God surged through the lead church Elder, threw him to the floor. The demonstration broke the ice and opened the hearts of the people to receive the blessings. We had an awesome meeting with the mighty move of God. Praise God that only His works shall praise and glorify His name!
Satan is most fearful of people going to the cross and obtaining the victory of Calvary in their daily lives. The Cross crucifies our flesh so that we can truly walk in the Spirit and work with the Lord in ONENESS to stay focused, committed to WORK with Him (John 14:11), for His purpose and glory.
