Vessel of Honour

It is a heavenly treasure to be an anointed vessel of honour of God (Matthew 13:44). However, we must be a willing and obedient vessel that God can use (Isaiah 1:19) and pass the tests of severe trials that God puts along our journey. 

“God never uses anyone greatly until He tests them deeply” A. W. Tozer

2 Timothy 2:20-21

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

How does God, the Consuming Fire purifies an earthly vessel?

 

Zechariah 13:9

This third I will bring into the fire;

I will refine them like silver

and test them like gold.

They will call on my name

and I will answer them;

I will say, ‘They are my people,’

and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.’ ”

 

Malachi 3:2-4

But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire or a launderer’s soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the LORD will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the LORD, as in days gone by, as in former years.

 

Isaiah 4:4

The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire.

 

Luke 3:16:17

John answered them all, “I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

What is a vessel of honour?

 

If the Spirit of Glory and of God is resting upon you.

The Spirit of God will rest on a vessel that He has cleansed, refined and purified through the fire. Then the vessel will cherish living truly a fully surrendered consecrated life, holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1-2) with deeper love and zeal for God (Matthew 22:37-38) which is the greatest commandment.

What is the evidence that the Spirit of Glory and of God is resting upon you?

1 Peter 4:14

“If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.”

“Don’t shine so others can see you. Shine so that through you, others can see Him” C. S. Lewis. 

Isaiah 60:1

Arise, shine;

For your light has come!

And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.

 

Isaiah 60:2

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,

And deep darkness the people;

But the LORD will arise over you,

And His glory will be seen upon you.

 

Isaiah 60:5

Then you shall see and become radiant,

And your heart shall swell with joy;

Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,

The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.

 

Exodus 34:29

The Shining Face of Moses

Now it was so, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai (and the two tablets of the Testimony were in Moses’ hand when he came down from the mountain), that Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked with Him.

 

Exodus 34:30

So when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone, and they were afraid to come near him.

We must have the manifest presence of God Himself on display for the world.

As members of His body, we must recognise and fulfil our individual calling and also to recognise and accept the callings of other members of the Body and move as one, for in Christ we are one Body. Hence, we should not insult or judge others just because they minister differently for God has created every member in a unique way to fulfil His purpose for different seasons.

The Mission of AOF School of Fire Starters

The Calling and Mission of AOF School of Fire Starters is to raise up end time disciples of Christ to be ‘Fire Starters’ or ‘Torchbearers’ to carry His fire and glory to the ends of the earth, with rapid fire and quick ignition to deliver, heal and transform lives - to shine for Jesus, and putting the manifest presence of His glory on display for the world.

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14). “The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,' says the LORD Almighty” (Haggai 2:9)

His light will clear the dark and doubtful minds and draw many of His people, especially the ones with calling, to receive His light and fire so that their lives and ministries will be supernaturally empowered, full of passion and purity, fearless and mighty to bring a swift transformation of lives because time is short and Jesus is coming back for His beautiful Bride soon! Hallelujah!

A man of God defines, “The Rise of the Torchbearers”

“There is a great transitioning happening in the Kingdom of God right now. We are witnessing along with the great cloud of witnesses, the appointed time of passing of the torches. There is a new set of fire starters or torchbearers that have been raised up, those that have been set apart, trained and are pure in heart. This new company of torchbearers are about to be revealed and positioned for receiving the greatest honor of carrying the torches of the weighty glory and fire of the Lord.

You will recognize these torchbearers because they will be marked as catalysts bringing the pure powerful fire of God into the darkest of places. They will lead Believers on the narrow path. They won't make excuses or walk with hidden agendas, but with hearts laid bare, they will illuminate the way of the Lord and ignite the hearts of the nations with the fire of God.

"Arise torchbearers, take your place in the great race! The time for the handoff has come. Fear not, for I the Lord, have honored you by choosing to bring you now to the forefront. I Am, is with you."

"You will carry the weight and greater measure of My fire and glory to the nations. You will ignite every heart in your path and awaken My people with My fire and glory says the Lord Almighty. For I have commissioned you to lead and mobilize My people into this new season of My greater glory!"

The Requirements of Fire Starter or Torchbearer

God sets a standard for His called and chosen. The higher the calling, the greater the degree of obedience required. Before He uses the called to a higher realm of serving Him, He will test them deeply. 

Disobedience is evil in God’s sight. Samuel told Saul in 1 Samuel 15:19, “Why did you not obey the Lord? Why did you pounce on the plunder and do evil in the eyes of the Lord?”

 

Samuel further added in 1 Samuel 15:22-23, “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has rejected you as king.’

 

Saul disobeyed because of the fear of his soldiers. He told Samuel in 1 Samuel 15:24, “I have sinned. I violated the Lord’s command and your instructions. I was afraid of the people and so I gave in to them.”

 

As a result of Saul’s disobedience,  Samuel said to him in 1 Samuel 15:28, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to one of your neighbors–to one better than you.”

 

God’s calling upon our life is a treasure that we must value and honour.

It is God’s requirement for fire starter/torchbearer to be baptised in fire.

Baptism of Fire is a baptism of holiness, a circumcision of our hearts. The baptism of the Holy Spirit gives us the power to deliver and heal the sick (Matthew 7:22-23), while the baptism of fire consumes and burns every resistance of fear, doubt, unbelief, dross of our lives. It also deals with the flesh and our self-life, crucifying them to the Cross so that we will be obedient in walking in the ways of God and keeping His requirements. These are the lives of a forerunner or a revivalist and the Baptism of Fire transforms us into Flames of Fire (Hebrew 1:7) and gives us the Christ’s character to obey and do the will of the Father (Matthew 7:21).

Arise, Shine, For Your Light Has Come (Part 3)

 

Our baptism in the Holy Spirit must be accompanied with the baptism of the fire of the Lord.

 

In the book of Acts 2:3, the 120 disciples were baptised with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

 

Acts 2:3, “They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire, that separated, and came to rest on each of them.”

God is a Consuming Fire and the fire of God is the Holy Spirit fire. When God baptised us with the Holy Spirit, He intended us also to have His fire.

 

Baptism of Fire is a baptism of holiness, a circumcision of our hearts. The baptism of the Holy Spirit gives us the power to deliver and heal the sick (Matthew 7:22-23), while the baptism of fire consumes and burns every resistance of fear, doubt, unbelief, dross of our lives. It also deals with the flesh and our self-life, crucifying them to the Cross.

 

This is the season where God is pouring down His Spirit on all people (Joel 2:28) in greater measure (Haggai 2:9) compared with the past where believers were empowered the power through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Baptism of Fire is awesome, mighty and fearless to burn and purge out the Leaven of the Pharisees (hypocrisy), Sadducees (unbelief), Herod (worldliness), Galatians (legalism) and Corinthians (immorality) and instil us with the fear of the Lord drawing our hearts back to the first love.

 

“For thine is the KINGDOM, POWER and GLORY forever and ever” is the last sentence of the Lord’s Prayer.

 

Most of us have been moving in the faith and the anointing (Power) realm for a long time. It is time to receive revelations on how to walk in the glory realm! Walking in the glory realm means to carry or host the glory of God. Before our bodies can be worthy to host the manifest presence of His glory, God has to purify and cleanse us (His Temple).

 

A man of God wrote:- “More and more we need to learn to operate in the glory realm His way and let His hand touch the people. Often we get in the way, wanting to do all the way when He can do it much better and faster --- with lasting results.”

 

The Baptism of Fire transforms us into Flames of Fire (Hebrew 1:7) and gives us the Christ’s character to obey and do the will of the Father (Matthew 7:21).

Arise, Shine, For Your Light Has Come (Part 2)

 

The most precious treasure is not being in the presence of God, or being filled by the presence of God but CARRYING the manifest presence of His glory and fire that His light will continually radiate from us, making us each a vessel of honour (Joshua 3:7). That makes all the difference!

 

As minister of God, our faces must shine like the stars with the radiance of God like the face of Moses when he came down from the mountain (Exodus 34:29)?

In Exodus 34:30, 35, Moses' face was radiant when he came out from the Lord's presence that the Israelites were afraid to come near him. Moses was a very clever man. He asked God for two things: (1) to teach him His ways so that he could continue to find favour with Him (Exodus 33:13, Isaiah 55:8) and (2) he told the Lord, "Show me your glory" (Exodus 33:18).

 

Tommy Tenney wrote in his book ‘God’s Favourite House’, “Moses knew the difference between the anointing and the glory. He had the anointing of God. He knew the thrill of working miracles and signs and wonders through the anointing. Moses had a good thing, but he asked God for the best thing. He said to the Lord, "Please show me Your glory."”

 

When God uses us to carry His manifest fire and glory, we need not have to do anything as His fire and glory will work through His earthly vessel.

God confirmed my calling in the part of the Body of Christ through 3 prophets few years ago and I have witnessed the fruits fulfilled with so many awesome testimonies.
