Arise, Shine, For Your Light Has Come (Part 3)

 

Our baptism in the Holy Spirit must be accompanied with the baptism of the fire of the Lord.

 

In the book of Acts 2:3, the 120 disciples were baptised with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

 

Acts 2:3, “They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire, that separated, and came to rest on each of them.”

God is a Consuming Fire and the fire of God is the Holy Spirit fire. When God baptised us with the Holy Spirit, He intended us also to have His fire.

 

Baptism of Fire is a baptism of holiness, a circumcision of our hearts. The baptism of the Holy Spirit gives us the power to deliver and heal the sick (Matthew 7:22-23), while the baptism of fire consumes and burns every resistance of fear, doubt, unbelief, dross of our lives. It also deals with the flesh and our self-life, crucifying them to the Cross.

 

This is the season where God is pouring down His Spirit on all people (Joel 2:28) in greater measure (Haggai 2:9) compared with the past where believers were empowered the power through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Baptism of Fire is awesome, mighty and fearless to burn and purge out the Leaven of the Pharisees (hypocrisy), Sadducees (unbelief), Herod (worldliness), Galatians (legalism) and Corinthians (immorality) and instil us with the fear of the Lord drawing our hearts back to the first love.

 

“For thine is the KINGDOM, POWER and GLORY forever and ever” is the last sentence of the Lord’s Prayer.

 

Most of us have been moving in the faith and the anointing (Power) realm for a long time. It is time to receive revelations on how to walk in the glory realm! Walking in the glory realm means to carry or host the glory of God. Before our bodies can be worthy to host the manifest presence of His glory, God has to purify and cleanse us (His Temple).

 

A man of God wrote:- “More and more we need to learn to operate in the glory realm His way and let His hand touch the people. Often we get in the way, wanting to do all the way when He can do it much better and faster --- with lasting results.”

 

The Baptism of Fire transforms us into Flames of Fire (Hebrew 1:7) and gives us the Christ’s character to obey and do the will of the Father (Matthew 7:21).
