In our ZOOM Live Broadcast, questions repeatedly had been thrown to us by the participants on why they trembled when I spoke the word. Many experienced the trembling for the first time in our ZOOM meeting.
People trembling in the presence of God is a common sight in our meetings as God comes in His fire and glory. It is an awesome display of the fear of God. We must not only put God on display for the world to see through the powerful demonstration of His word but to demonstrate the radiance of God shining out from us for the world to see that even demons could see (Mark 5:6-7, Acts 16:16-17).
When I preached the word in a seminar to about 40 pastors in China, most of the pastors were trembling and shaking like leaves in their seats, for the Lord said in Isaiah 66:2, “ ... This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word.”
1 Samuel 16:4, “Samuel did what the LORD said. When he arrived at Bethlehem, the elders of the town TREMBLED when they met him. They asked, “Do you come in peace?”
Hebrews 12:21, "The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, I am trembling with fear."
Acts 16:29, "The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas."
Acts 7:32, "I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. ’ Moses trembled with fear and did not dare to look."
In our School of Fire Starters the students trembled under fire impartation and their ministries became more effective in reaching out to save souls in the Great Commission. A sister testified that the fire has spread to Hubei province with souls saved.
We cannot gauge any encounter by its outward physical manifestations. We measure it by the fruit of a changed lifestyle.
