The Bible is very clear about God’s judgement and His wrath on the wicked as written in Psalms 75:10, “All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.”
The Lord commanded Jonah in Jonah 1:2, “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.” But Jonah disobeyed and ran away, went abroad and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD.”
Disobedience to God’s command is wickedness in His sight. Because of Jonah’s disobedience, the LORD provided a great fish to swallow him. Jonah was inside the fish three days and three nights, a grace period given for him to decide whether he would obey God.
In distress, Jonah cried out to the Lord, prayed and sang a song of THANKSGIVING to the Lord.

It is very scary when the Lord looks at us not to bless us but to judge us. I went through 7 years of painful mishaps with both businesses and my health severely affected. God was dealing with my arrogance, pouring down His Spirit of humility upon me to break the spirit of pride before He could use me for an unusual calling. The calling requires me to fully surrender my entire life, leaving everything behind to carry the cross and follow Him as per Matthew 19:29:-
“And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.”
As a chosen vessel to work with God faithfully ... being the called, chosen and to be faithful to this unusual calling (Revelation 17:14), I have been living in isolation, and confined in God’s Sanctuary for 15 years now since 2006.
Had Jonah refused to submit, the obedient great fish would be delighted to have a delicious meal and God would raise up another ... Psalms 75:7, “But it is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.”
