Difference between the Anointing and God’s Manifest Glory

In my book “The Arsenal of Fire,” I shared insights on how to host the manifest presence of God, and how to walk in the glory realm. The difference between the anointing and the glory is that God shows up and does all the work. In an anointing, you lay hands on people. In the glory, no man gets the glory except God ... ‘All your works shall glorify you, O Lord.’

All believers have the Holy Spirit in them, but very few have the manifest presence of God’s glory resting upon them. In the previous move of God, several international well known ministers of God whom God has commissioned, minister very powerfully in healing & deliverance to bring freedom. As a result of their popularities and being much sought-after speakers, they become celebrities.

However, one important element is missing; that is the most precious treasure having the tangible manifest presence of the Spirit of God upon them.

A man of God wrote:- “Moses knew the difference between the anointing and the glory. He had the anointing of God. He knew the thrill of working miracles and signs and wonders through the anointing. Moses had a good thing, but he asked God for the best thing. He said, "Please show me Your glory.” The difference between the anointing of God and the glory of God is like the difference between the tiny blue spark of static electricity and the raw power of a 440-volt power line overhead or having a lightning strike on your head.”

Another wrote:- “Glory is the manifested presence of Jesus. Revival is filled with stories of His manifest presence resting upon His people. HE lives in all believers, but the glory of His presence comes to rest on only a few.”

His fire and glory are very rare treasures and precious gifts that God give to His Church. The fire and glory are His manifest presence. Saul had His manifest presence. But his disobedience caused the manifest presence of God to depart from him, though the gift of prophecy remained with Saul (1 Samuel 16:14). The Gifts of the Spirit are irrevocable but the manifest presence of His fire and glory can depart from a person.

In 1 Samuel 15:24-28, 16:14, the LORD took the kingdom away from Saul because he sinned and violated the LORD’S command and His instructions. Saul was afraid of the people and so he gave in to them. As a result, the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD tormented him.

We must have the radiance of God shining out from us putting God Himself on display for the world. Demons could recognise a person whom the manifest presence of His fire and glory upon him.

Mark 5:6-7
When a man with an evil spirit saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him.He shouted at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Swear to God that you won’t torture me!”

Acts 16:17
A slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future, followed Paul, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.”

In Exodus 34:30, 35, Moses' face was radiant when he came out from the Lord's presence that the Israelites were afraid to come near him.

There is a new breed of nameless end-time warrior brides that the Lord has trained and kept hidden in His mountain. They are now being released to cause a massive tsunami fire revival that is so awesome, fearless and mighty that the world has never witnessed before - “No eyes have seen, no ears have heard.” “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the seas” (Habakkuk 2:14).
