The Radiance of God’s Glory

God’s glory will be seen in our life to reflect the radiance of Christ in us for display for the world if we spent more time in His presence.

2 Corinthians 3:7-8

“Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?”

Moses was in the burning bush for 40 days with God. God is fire. In His burning presence, the fire burned and radiated to Moses covering his face with the radiance of God’s glory.

Exodus 34:29-30

The Radiant Face of Moses

“When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD.

When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him.”

Every earthly vessels that God have chosen for special work will be kept in isolation to be with Him in His burning presence before they are sent, and the radiance of Christ will be radiated to their faces.

Psalm 34:5

“Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.”

Isaiah 60:5

“Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.”

Psalm 19:8

“The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.”

The degree of God’s radiance appearing on the earthly vessels depends on the time spend with God in His mountain.

Psalm 24:3-4

“Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place?

Those who have clean hands and a pure heart, who do not put their trust in an idol or swear by a false god.”

In His presence, His fire will surge into His earthly vessel, consuming and purifying the vessel before the radiance of God’s glory will rest on His temple. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit.

2 Chronicles 7:1

The Dedication of the Temple

“When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.”

His earthly vessel will be transformed into Flames of Fire after the Glory of God (glorious flame) has rested on the vessel. 

Psalm 104:4

“He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants.”

Hebrews 1:7

“In speaking of the angels he says, He makes his angels spirits,

and his servants flames of fire.”

Christ’s radiance (light) cannot be hidden. His radiance rested on His earthly vessel carries a higher Kingdom’s power and authority that even demons can recognise.

Mark 5:2, 6-7

“When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an evil spirit came from the tombs to meet him. When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him. He shouted at the top of his voice, 'What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In God's name don't torture me!”

Act 16:17-18

“Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, 'These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.”

Act 19:15-16

One day the evil spirit answered them, 'Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?' Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.”

The degree to which we walk in true spiritual authority is determined by the degree to which the Lord lives within us. And the measure, the radiance of God resting upon us depends on how much time that we spend in the presence of the Consuming Fire including our yielded obedience to do the will of the Father.

When I was having dinner with some leaders, one of my guests came over to my dinner table wanting to talk to me. It was after a ministry held in the house of the Late Dato Chua Jui Meng where the radiance of the glory of God was still upon me. Praise God! 

His glory was so heavy that the pastor could not even come near to me. And the glorious flame threw her to the floor few feet away.

May this message inspire you and stir your hunger to spend more quiet time with the Lord in order to be radiated with more of the radiance of His glory!

His glorious flame resting on us will do His works while we rest in Him (Matthew 11:28-30). This is the difference between the anointing and His glorious flame in us, with us and all over us. Hallelujah!

God’s Splendour (Isaiah 55:5)

We are living in the most exciting time that God will pour out His Spirit on ALL flesh (Joel 2:26) in greater glory (Haggai 2:9) which is the awesome splendour of His glorious flame. God is fire. His children shall be Flames of Fire (Hebrews 1:7) who will shine for the world to see and draw the people back to the love of God, fulfilling the greatest commandment as described in Matthew 22:37-38.

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.” 

Tommy Tenney wrote:

“Moses knew the difference between the anointing and the glory. He had the anointing of God. He knew the thrill of working miracles, signs and wonders through the anointing. Moses had a good thing, but he asked God for the best thing. He said, "Please show me Your glory.”

The difference between the anointing of God and the glory of God is like the difference between the tiny blue spark of static electricity and the raw power of a 440-volt power line overhead or having a lightning strike on your head.

We must have the manifest presence of God Himself on display for the world.” 

Like Moses, we must not settle for anything less than what we deserve to have; that is the impartation of His glorious flame which is His splendour.

Be ready to be empowered and receive the impartation of the awesome splendour!

When the Lord rests His splendour (Isaiah 55:5) which is His Spirit & His glory on His earthly vessel, the Lord’s splendour will draw people to the person. 

Isaiah 55:5

“Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations you do not know will come running to you, because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendour.”

Insults confirm that the Spirit of glory and of God rests on the person.

1 Peter 4:14

“If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.”

Having witnessed how His splendour resting upon me that has drawn people to surround me, some have asked me to impart this precious gift to them while some perhaps through their jealousy, insulted me of being prideful, arrogant and boastful. 

Insult upon an earthly vessel who hosts the Spirit of Glory and of God is a norm as mentioned in 1 Peter 4:14. By His grace, they did not know that I was far worst than all the insults hurled on me. Hence, it was not as bad as the truth. 

The Lord does not look at a perfect vessel. He may pick the weakest, the outcast and even the worst sinner to be His earthly vessel to rest the glory of God and His Spirit. God looks at the heart of a vessel who is humble, obedient and willing to do His will. Obedience and humility are marks of Sonship.

Praise God for using critics to teach, shape and refine my character and also to keep me humble so that my ministry can bear fruits.  A man of God who knew me from the start of my ministry and had seen me from ministering initially like a wild donkey wrote:-

“Please note that God's calling on Rev Dr Paul K P Ang, his dedication, his sacrificial deeds, and fruitfulness upon the life of many outstanding servants of God, his critics just cannot match with him.”

Every human beings fall short of His glory, birthed out of sinful nature and desire to be recognized and accepted. If our answer is negative, we are either hypocrites or having false humility. 

However for impartation, a renowned man of God wrote:-

"It's easy for me to lay hands on somebody for impartation...but it's impossible to impart to someone my history with God. History is primarily in the secret place...when nobody is watching. If you'll make history with God, He'll make history through you."

That is a fond memory of the year that I yielded and fully surrendered my life to God. It was not easy to leave all behind including my businesses, sacrificing my most treasured earthly possession (Issac) to follow Him, answering His calling upon my life. Even being insulted because of the name of Christ (1 Peter 4:14). But by His grace, He gave me the strength to overcome.

“And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.”

Manifesting the Glory of God

The Body of Christ is a unit that makes up of many parts. God in His sovereignty, through the Holy Spirit, distributes different spiritual gifts to different parts of the Body. Every believer has a unique calling and role to play in God’s Kingdom. 

For example, God could use us in the body of Christ to host His glorious flame making us ‘Flames of Fire’ as in Hebrews 1:7 and manifesting His glory as Jesus did that power flow from Him healing the woman with blood issues. Luke 8:46, Jesus said, 'Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.' We should imitate Christ as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:1, “Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.”

I share a testimony from a pastor of how God has used me as a vessel imitating Christ to manifest His glory while having dinner in a restaurant with about 33 ministers of God.

“Dr Paul, your face is shining with the Glory of God like Moses who went up to the mountain.” Before I could finish, I felt the wave of his glory over me & I was trembling uncontrollable….I walked away and intended to bring my ministry partner to say thank you as well. So I went the 2nd time…. to Dr Paul and led to say the same words…. Dr Paul just smiled at me under His mask that he was wearing.  Lo & behold at that moment I FELT A FORCE, zapped through my belly.  And I was thrown 5ft away from where Ps Paul was sitting, landed up on the floor at the restaurant, so forcefully. I hit my head on the ground as though a rock hit on the concrete. When I heard that sound, I thought my head would crack but lo & behold his GLORY covered me….the bump is healed & His Glory is all over me… I know this is the beginning of what God is doing in my life to let me walk in His Glory realm. Hallelujah!
