Dear Bothers and Sisters in Christ,
Thanks to all who have enquired how am I after the Penang Convergence meeting. I thank you for your concern for me and also Arsenal of Fire. In all circumstances, I give thanks to God (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Just to let all of you know that I am fine, praise God, and running the race God has laid for me. He is the author and finisher of my faith.
Some of you asked why I didn't rebut the points raised against me and AOF. Humanly, it is natural to respond and come against another who have wronged you, but with God’s grace and wise advice from godly men, I refrained from doing so. Why I said "wronged"? According to the Bible in Matthew 18:15-17 (NIV), “If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. 16 But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’ 17 If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.”
According to the Word of God, this is the way to settle matters in the family of God, but I was surprise to learn that a brother of mine, whom I respect and trust, has attacked my character and ministry on social media without even talking to me. Is it biblical or is it out of brotherly love? I leave the conclusion to you.
All this while, I remained quiet because I know it is not edifying to have exchanges on this matter openly, it will only displease God. I'm reminded by God's word in Ephesians 4:2-3 (KJV), "With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
I submit myself to the leadership of RFM Malaysia being a trustee and RFN Singapore being a founding member and I will accept their counsel and decision on this matter.
Some may say that my silence give credence to the accusations against me. Whether I'm biblical in my ministry, one can easily judge from my book, "The Arsenal of Fire" and postings on my blog. If anyone has any feedback about what is not biblical in my book, which is available online, please let me know directly in the spirit of Matthew 18:15 and I will humbly amend accordingly, if needed. There is no point for me to answer nitpicking accusations.
During one of the RFM and RFN meetings, I openly forgive and bless my brother who wronged me. I'm open for reconciliation to be facilitated by RFM and RFN.
It grieves me to see that we have reached this stage of disunity. The devil has a field day because we allowed it. We must be humble and willing to unite and give no grounds for the enemy to take advantage of our current situation.
I pray that we will not be distracted by this incident, but focus on praying and moving on with the Revival Fire of God for global harvest and revival for God's Glory. Amen!
God bless!
