In 2 Kings 7, there was a great famine in Samaria. The Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!” So they got up and fled in the dusk and left behind abundant provisions, resources & foods.
These four lepers went to the scene and were well-fed. 2 Kings 7:9, Then they said to each other, “We’re not doing right. This is a day of good news and we are keeping it to ourselves. If we wait until daylight, punishment will overtake us. Let’s go at once and report this to the royal palace.”
The gatekeepers were convinced after witnessing that they were well-fed so they shouted the news, and it was reported within the palace.
In our AOF Fire Impartation ZOOM, many have been well-fed after receiving fire and spiritual gifts Impartation, the Lion of Judah and powerful warfare anointing.
After you have been well-fed, boldly bear witness for our Lord Jesus Christ.
We should be like the four lepers who after being well-fed (2 Kings 7:9), could then reach out to bear witness for our God as per His command in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be MY WITNESSES in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Reaching out to the harvest fields, testimony is a very powerful tool in evangelism. If you are willing to bear witness for Him, heaven will back you up. We destroy the works of the devil by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11).
Concerning power evangelism, Paul said in the following Scriptures:-
Romans 15:17-19
“Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God. I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done–by the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have FULLY proclaimed the gospel of Christ.”
1 Corinthians 2:4-5
“My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.”
1 Corinthians 4:20
“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”
To God be the power and glory for ever and ever. Amen!
