The Joy of the Lord

The manifestation of joy is a tremendous fruit of the Spirit when the Spirit of Truth lives with you and is in you evidenced by the following Scriptures:-

1 Peter 1:8

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

John 15:9-11

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”

However, the world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”

John 14:15-17

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

“If you love me, keep my commands.; And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever—the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”

In the Great Commission, Jesus commands us to make disciples of all nations. Every disciple is a believer but not every believer is a disciple. It is a personal choice. If every believer chooses to be a disciple, we can easily and rapidly win the world for Jesus. 

Like the true disciples of Christ, you will be insulted the Spirit of God and His glory rests on you.

1 Peter 4:14

If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

“Glory is the manifested presence of Jesus. Revival is filled with stories of His manifest presence resting upon His people. HE lives in all believers, but the glory of His presence comes to rest on only a few” quoted from an Apostolic Revivalist.

The Yoke of Humility (Matthew 11:29)

The new book, “Transforming Fire” will share how much God can manifest His glory through us as Paul depicted in 1 Corinthians 11:1, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” 

Jesus did that where power flowed from Him and healed the woman with blood issues as He said in Luke 8:46, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.”

Jesus also said, “anyone who loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him (John14:23), manifesting the Shekinah glory.

2 Corinthians 3:7-8

The Greater Glory of the New Covenant

“Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?”

We are the light of the world. We must set an example and our faces must manifest and demonstrate the radiance (light) of Christ, so that through us others can see Him.

Like Paul, he was so filled with the radiance and anointing of God that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them (Acts 19:12). 

The prayer of the righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). The man whom Jesus opened his sight told the Pharisees in John 9:31, “We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly person who does his will.”

If we desire to be used as earthly vessels for the Lord, we must be clothed with Jesus’ yoke of humility. His yoke of humility is to do the will of the Father. Obedience is true humility and the mark of Sonship.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:29, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Obedience to do the will of the Father is True Humility

The kingdom of God is all about power & authority, the measure we receive depends on our level of obedience to His command. 

John 15:14-15:-

“You are my friends if you do what I COMMAND. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.”

God will give us knowledge of revelations if we are His friends; it shall be things that we can see clearly into the spiritual realm with God’s immeasurable power and authority resting upon us for our obedience.

In Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." It means that the Lord will rest His glorious light upon us  making us flames of fire and His glory works through us while we rest in Him.

Jesus further added in Matthew 11:29, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Jesus meant is for us to take His yoke of humility to do the will of the Father. Obedience is true humility and is a mark of Sonship.

When God told Elijah to anoint Elisha to succeed him as prophet, Elijah obeyed and threw his cloak around Elisha. Elisha did not set conditions. He just obeyed and said that he wanted to kiss his father and mother goodbye. Elijah replied in one sentence, “Go back,” Elijah replied. “What have I done to you?”

1 Kings 19:21

So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant.

It was not easy for Elisha to obey and left his business and family behind to follow Elijah but he knew the immeasurable power & authority that Elijah had, so were the company of 50 prophets following behind both Elijah & Elisha (2 Kings 2:5). They all kept close to Elijah before he was taken home, hoping to catch Elijah’s mantle of immeasurable power and authority. Elijah’s successor Elisha caught the double portion of the Spirit of Elijah.

Reinhard Bonnke had a high calling. He knew the treasure of the immeasurable power and authority when God sent him to Africa. Without hesitance, he resigned from his calling as an ordinary missionary to embark on his high calling. If he had set conditions or to delay accepting the calling, God will raise another.

The Amazing Testimonies of Nancy Coen

Nancy Coen, an awesome highly anointed minister of God from America came to have coffee fellowship with us at our ministry’s premise in Singapore on March 13, 2018.

She shared a few powerful testimonies and one of which was about a man who attacked her while she was ministering in Papau New Guinea. He threw 3 spears at her but the spears stopped right in front of her and dropped to the ground (see photo). She faced all kinds of danger in her 40 years of ministry.

Nancy Coen’s testimonies bear the mighty work of God to her faith that she is even prepared to be a martyr for Christ if called. This willingness to be martyred was demonstrated in an occasion especially how she led a jihadist, who had beheaded 500 pastors and burned down 600 Churches, to accept Christ as his saviour.
