“For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ” 1 Corinthians 12:12
The Body of Christ is a unit that makes up of many parts. God in His sovereignty, through the Holy Spirit, distributes different spiritual gifts to different parts of the Body. Every believer has a unique calling and role to play in God’s Kingdom.
Ephesians 4:11
“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and Teachers.”
There are many parts in the Body of Christ. God will place the burden and the Father’s love in us to minister in the part for our calling. When we work with God in Oneness as depicted in John 14:11, God will work through us to demonstrate His love manifesting in miracles, signs and wonders to touch and transform lives, while we rest in Him (Matthew 11:28-30)
