The Promise of God - My Testimony

If you are willing to do the part that God has called you, He will do His part to fulfil His promise for He says in Isaiah 55:11, “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

Time flies. 24 years ago, the companies that I owned, moved to MANHATTAN House, a prime commercial district in Singapore, occupying two Penthouse units. 12 years later (in 2005), I was called into God's service. I gave up my secular businesses and commenced a ministry to work with God in this building and another 12 years have now quickly passed.


MANHATTAN Fish Market co-founded in 2002 by my son, George, is today a global name. With restaurants now in 15 countries, it managed to win the Franchise brand of the Year, International Franchise of the Year, International Franchise of the Year for the second year running and also won the Master Franchisee of the Year for Tony Romas’s. God has indeed fulfilled His promise to me, that if I was willing to leave everything behind to work with Him (Matthew 19:29 NKJV), HE would bless my family. HE would also bless the work of my hands. Whatever I have achieved in the secular business is nothing compared to how He is going to use me in my work with Him. Praise God!
