The Price of Sonship

 

I share a testimony of the price of pursuing Sonship, a painful process and it could only be achieved by His grace to fill us with the love and fear of the Lord, that we are able to place Him above all. Apart from Him, we can do nothing as we need His strength to die-to-self in order to have the humility to obey God. Obedience to do the will of the Father is a mark of Sonship (Romans 8:15-17).

When I stepped into my ordained calling, perhaps I was put to a test whether I was prepared to leave everything behind (Matthew 19:29 NKJV) in order to demonstrate my love for Him ((Matthew 22:37-38, John 14:21,23) and not looking back (Luke 9:62). As a consequence and unknowingly, I went through fiery trials, severe insults and rejections by most of my friends in Church. Many pastors including my two mentors kept their distance (by the grace of God, they are now my good friends).

In a test of obedience, I had to sacrifice my treasured unbelieving life partner (Isaac) who was very capable in managing my secular businesses including managing a cozy and comfortable home. However, after I became a radical Christian over my zeal as a God-chaser, she became very critical over my new faith and lifestyle. Finally without hesitation, she angrily walked out of me (1 Corinthians 7:15). I was not permitted to contact her until 13 years had passed. By then, her heart was ready to receive our Lord Jesus Christ as saviour. Praise God!

On April 2, 2024 she passed into the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My other Isaac was my two commercial penthouse properties located in the prime district of Singapore which I bought about 3 decades ago. The two properties were yielding monthly rental about S$9,000. Having fully surrendered my life to the Lord,  I had to dedicate the two properties for His use as a ministry and prayer house. The dedication was undoubtedly not without struggle because of the sudden surge of rising prices and rental of commercial properties.

God was pleased with my obedience and He filled me with His fullness (John 3:34, Col 1:19). The Spirit of Glory and His Spirit rested upon me powerfully. This was evident that in ALL our meetings from the Atlantic Ocean (NYC) to West and East Asia (Jerusalem, China, Taiwan etc) to Pacific sea of Australia n NZ, we had mini revivals with an awesome move of the Holy Spirit. With the ministry bearing tremendous fruits, so were the insults and slanders that came with the hosting of the Spirit of Glory and His Spirit as per 1 Peter 4:14, “If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.”

A man of God wrote: "Think of the controversy that swirled around Jesus, then around the apostles, and since then around every major move of God in history. No man of God has carried a great anointing without having to bear the kind of accusations. The religious leaders would spread gross lies and rumors about anointed men of God perhaps out of fear of losing some of the congregation to the person. However, Jesus told his disciples, "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me" (Matthew 5:11).

It is usual to be jealous of other more powerful ministry (Acts 5:17, 17:5).

Due to the controversies surrounding our ministry, some of the ministry team members were having doubts about our AOF advisor having occult spirit just because of his association with me. However, they changed their perspective after witnessing his teaching and ministering according to biblical truth. 

In order to provide them with an insight of my ministry, he sent them a link of the endorsements by many outstanding servants of God on my latest book ‘Transforming Fire’’. 

He also wrote, “Please note that God's calling on Rev Dr Paul K P Ang, his dedication, his sacrificial deeds, and fruitfulness upon the life of many outstanding servants of God, his critics just cannot match with him.”

Quarantine in the Secret Place

Paul called by God, was quarantined in Arabia for 3 years to receive revelations from the Holy Spirit. Galatians 1:17, “I did not go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went into Arabia. Later I returned to Damascus. Galatians 1:11, “I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any human source, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.”

If you are prepared for greater work (2 Tim. 2:20-21), God will quarantine you in the secret place in order to give you revelation. Quoted by a great man of God, “One has to deal with the Holy Spirit secretly in the hidden place. The flesh has to be locked outside, and the Holy Spirit locked into.”

It is in the secret place that God will cleanse, refine and purify His earthly vessel so that the Spirit of Glory and of God will rest on him (1 Peter 4:14). Then he will be a vessel of honour to walk, and be led by the Spirit of God (Romans 8:14). And to work with God in Oneness to do greater things (John 10:37-38, 14:11).

Watchman Nee:- “The works of the Holy Spirit are done through man’s spirit while the works of the enemy are all done through man’s sinful flesh.”

The Bible says that there are three kinds of people; the Carnal (1 Corinthians 3:1-3), the Soulish (1 Corinthians 2:14) and the Spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:11). 

1 Corinthians 3:1-3 (The Carnal)

“Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as spiritual but as worldly–mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere human beings?”

1 Corinthians 2:14 (The Soulish)

“The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”

1 Corinthians 2:11, 14 (The Spiritual)

“For who knows a person's thoughts except that person's own spirit within? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”

Let us aim to be spiritual Christians! The ones who lean not on human comprehension, but rather operating from the Spirit of God that is within us.

My house will be called a house of prayer (Matthew 21:13)

Praying with people can sometimes do more for them than preaching to them.

John Wesley shared that he was visiting a woman who was furious about the new faith. His argument only increased her anger. He broke off the dispute and asked her to join him in prayer. She agreed. In a few minutes, she manifested in 'signs' and fell over in extreme agony, both in body and soul, to loose every satanic chain binding her life.

In one of my Camp meetings, a lady who was a frequent co-worker in revival meetings having exposed to signs n wonders, confronted me and opposed strongly against a weird spiritual manifestation. As she was arguing, the Holy Spirit came upon her to confirm His work and the lady manifested in the 'signs’ she was opposing.

God confirms His word through demonstrating in signs & wonders with amazing testimonies of His awesome works of which the fruits speak louder than any word could ever say. Praise God!

In July 2024, we will be commencing a prayer ministry in the high end district of Kuala Lumpur.

Most detailed Near-Death Experience by John J. Davis

Don’t fear dying for our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20).

Paul said in Philippians 1:21-24, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.”

Like Paul, our human spirits groan to be with Christ but we have to finish our earthly missions before we can depart from our dishonoured perishable earthly bodies. Please read 1 Corinthians 15:42-44.

God gives different people different experiences depending on their missions on earth. Some are permitted to share about their spiritual encounters in the heavenly realm while others may not. In 2 Corinthians 12:4, “Paul was caught up to paradise and heard inexpressible things, things that no one is permitted to tell.”

There are heaven mysteries and deeper things in the spiritual realm. In 1 Corinthians 2:9, it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived– these things God has prepared for those who love him”

When Prophet Nancy Coen came to visit me for the first time in March 2018, her greeting to me was that we both raptured daily. 

I had an out-of-body experience when the doctor gave me an liposuction operation in the 90s, My human spirit was hanging on the ceiling, overlooking 3 nurses pressing on my stomach to rid my body of the excess oil.

About 18 years ago, my spirit was lifted up and in the cloud, I witnessed a glorious light beamed through my spirit. When my spirit returned to my body, I could feel a tangible electric current surging through both my palms (Habakkuk 3:4). Praise God!

Transforming Fire - Hosting the Spirit of God and His Glory (1 Peter 4:14)

The Calling and Mission of AOF School of Fire Starters is to raise up end time disciples of Christ to be ‘Fire Starters’ or ‘Torchbearers’ to carry His fire and glory to the ends of the earth, with rapid fire and quick ignition to deliver, heal and transform lives - to shine for Jesus, and putting the manifest presence of His glory on display for the world.

His light will clear the dark and doubtful minds and draw many of His people, especially the ones with calling, to receive His light and fire so that their lives and ministries will be supernaturally empowered, full of passion and purity, fearless and mighty to bring a swift transformation of lives because time is short and Jesus is coming back for His beautiful Bride soon! God requires His earthly vessels to be refined and purified by the Baptism of Fire (Matthew 3:11, Luke 3:16) before His earthly vessels are worthy to carry His fire and manifest glory.  It will require a consecrated and fully surrendered life to the Lord.

Baptism of Fire is a baptism of holiness, a circumcision of our hearts. The baptism of the Holy Spirit gives us the power to deliver and heal the sick (Matthew 7:22-23), while the baptism of fire consumes and burns every resistance of fear, doubt, unbelief, dross of our lives. It also deals with the flesh and our self-life, crucifying them to the Cross so that we will be obedient in walking in the ways of God and keeping His requirements. These are the lives of a forerunner or a revivalist and the Baptism of Fire transforms us into Flames of Fire (Hebrew 1:7) and gives us the Christ’s character to obey and do the will of the Father (Matthew 7:21).

The radical disciples of Jesus were willing and obedient vessels, even to the extent of leaving everything behind, carrying the cross and following Jesus. As the result, the Spirit of God and His evidential glory rested upon them (1 Peter 4:14) with much higher power and authority and their spiritual senses were opened to see deeper into the spiritual realm.

Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 13:16-17, “But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. Truly I tell you, many PROPHETS and RIGHTEOUS  people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”

Do we really love God to the extent that we are willing to be consecrated and fully surrendered our lives to the Lord? If we do, our spiritual senses will be opened to see: ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived–these things God has prepared for those who love him' (1 Corinthians 2:9).

No earthly vessels can host or carry the fullness of His fire and glory without consecration, a fully surrendered life, leaving everything behind and carrying the cross to follow the Lord.

Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 19:29, “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.”

Matthew 12:46-50, “While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, 'Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.' He replied to him, 'Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?' Pointing to his disciples, he said, 'Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.'”
